Pimp MTG is born! A new site to unite the Pimp and Collectors Community

My dear friends,

You are all members of this forum because of your passion about Mtg and its Legacy format. Some of you are collectors, other like to pimp their stuff, or simply enjoy what the community has to share.

I've been working on a new site that aims to join the Pimp Community in one place. With Pimp MTG we will have everything together, easy to find, easy to publish. I'm glad to be able to share with you:

I'm sure some of you would like to become active members and perhaps help me improve the website during this early stage.

The site still misses some features that I hope to implement soon, and it has some content already to be used as an initial database. With your help I'm sure we can make it grow really fast!

Some features of the website:

- Very image friendly, like a magazine about Pimp Cards.
- Integrated forum to share all your amazing stuff.
- Different user levels to contribute the way you want.
- Contributor's Reward Program
- Selling and Trading forums.
- Social Network integration.
- Sponsor plans to enhance the trader experience.
- etc...

Please visit the site and spend some time, feel free to post comments, create forum posts, etc... I think the best way to grow is letting the users, like you, participate and build the community the way we want to be.

It would be nice if we could register usernames with ' characters although I do not believe this is under your control. Also, cannot figure out how to use an avatar - probably because WP is a flaming POS. :/

You can't register ' characters, that is correct, and I'm sorry about but I can't really do much about it. It's how Wordpress works. Regarding the avatars, you can upload your own picture at your profile page (botton part of it). it seems like this site is trying to attract a little more than just a foil deck and some cool cards we have. Are you looking to attract only the elite, or whats the deal?

You can't register ' characters, that is correct, and I'm sorry about but I can't really do much about it. It's how Wordpress works. Regarding the avatars, you can upload your own picture at your profile page (botton part of it). Yeah so I'm registered and the option to upload a file is not present on my profile page. Gravatar is listed as default with no other options. This was and is the source of my frustration/prior post.

Maybe an option only available to certain user groups?

The site is open to every kind of 'pimp' users might like to post. There is no rules of what's more pimp since that is something 100% subjective.

It is true that we posted really top-class material at first as we wanted to attract people by the beauty of these cards.

So yeah, feel free to post anything you believe it's pimp.

@Ertai's, the upload avatar option should be visible for all groups. Will check your profile later!

It's clear that you've identified a niche and would like to be THE place to go to view pimp cards so people don't have to scour over threads on various boards. Keep it up.

The site could need some tuning in terms of functionality. I'm still working on the best way to categorize/tag information. I think what makes this site different is that it should be fairly easy to find something you are interested on.
