What happens if you don't get 30? Do the prizes just get cut? Or will you not fire without 30?

Definitely want to know the answer to this question.

Fullerton is not prohibitively far to drive, but it's a long way to go just to find out that 29 players showed up, and we won't be playing (or we'll be playing for 10 packs of Scars).

And the more people who are thinking like me, the less likely you'll hit 30 players.

I've seen so much resistance to travelling to OC tournaments from LA people. Y'all are lazy as fuck. Get your asses to Fullerton, play some good Magic, and have a good time.

At least our OC freeways have at minimum 3 lanes and hardly any traffic. Man up.

So that answers the question, does it?

I'd rather not drive an hour for an event that who the hell knows if it's going to fire, and that makes me lazy as fuck?

Yes.

If you head down then you might be the 30th person and maybe even win it all for those two Jaces. Do it for the Jaces.

This.

I'm coming up from El Cajon, so y'all know you aren't going to finish last.

EDIT: looks like I scored last-minute entry to Comic-Con tomorrow, which has the added benefit of being like three miles from my place. I will be up for sure next time though. Long as it doesn't intrude upon Comic-Con again. (Or, more likely, long as I don't happen upon a way into the Magic room there again.)

Jak if you want to kvetch about possibilities consider this:

A small hobby shop in San Marcos hosted a prize tourney yesterday that Danny posted with only 18 hrs notice. They got 23 people there. Just show up, bring a friend, and we'll have enough.

Sweet! My 9yr old and I should be able to roll into this. No chance at winning but happy to find legacy in the OC.
