The idea for this deck is to detour the other players from attacking you and then slowly kill them unsuspectingly. Ruhan is perfect cause he has to attack and its at random so no one gets angry when you smash them for 7.

Considering Adding for Card Draw
SB: 1 Recurring Insight
SB: 1 Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur
SB: 1 Thought Reflection

I think i finally got the mana correct. maybe cut 1 land at most but it seems fine now. My main problem I was running into was that I would run out of steam and need ways to draw cards so I added a couple great cards and am still considering adding more.

Hopefully these cards won't draw hate towards me. if there are cards that will draw hate please point them out.

I need some ideas for cards that deter people from attacking me or choosing me as a target. Cards like propaganda are great for accomplishing this or karmic justice or michiko.

also would like criticisms because I haven't had too much multiplayer testing.

Is Ruhan the right commander for this deck? It kind of just looks like a "GoodStuff" list, and there's nothing wrong with that, but I don't know that it gains anything from having Ruhan as a commander**. An unchallenged Ruhan is a 3 turn clock in Commander, so I wonder whether "killing them slowly" is the angle you want to go with.

I realize there are not a ton of options that don't just invoke 5-color craziness - it's basically like, Ruhan or Zedruu or Numot, and everything after that is a 5 color general. Still I think bad sex is better than no sex - you might consider a commander that "actually does something" besides randomly attacking a random opponent randomly. Playing a gimpy general as a dissuasion tactic works exactly one time; after that the jig is up and everyone knows what you're doing anyway. In my experience playing a general that seems like it's only there to establish color identity is one of the easiest ways to draw fire from the table.

EDIT ** Yeah I know about the random attack at random thing, it doesn't change the fact that he's a 7/7 for 4. There are (crappy) ways of getting him to attack a particular opponent, and that's all he does anyway is attack.

i use the term killing them slowly very loosely in the sense that it doesnt just have a big combo or several combos that just outright win. Its damage over time. Ruhan was selected because he doesnt create hate. I mean it depends on how threatening the other decks at the table are but hes definatly not an arcum or scion, jhoria or anything stong like that. At least thats not how i've ever viewed him. Maybe im wrong and he will draw hate.

Aside from the general does anything stick out as drawing lots of hate or having alll your opponents focus on you?

Smoke seems like it could be better than Martial Law in here. You untap your 7/7, they untap something irrelevant.

Suppression Field is one of those cards that I always want to be better than it is. In this format, a :2: tax isn't going to do much when everyone is just ramping up to some fatties. Rest in Peace might be a better way to keep things "fair" since graveyard shenanigans pretty much define the format. I'm also somewhat surprised to not see Blind Obedience in here since it keeps dorks out of Ruhan's way and gives you a little incidental life loss/gain as you play.

Mind Unbound is cute, but it doesn't do anything. Three other players have a chance to remove it before it even replaces itself. I've really been liking Recurring Insight lately as a 6 mana card infusion, and it will probably draw you more cards all at once than Mind Unbound ever will.

My concern is more, people will see you're playing a stall deck and come after you after game one, and your general is just a 7/7 that doesn't actually make your deck any better. Like I said, drawing hate on the basis of your commander is irrelevant; the deck will draw fire, and the one card in your deck you can reliably tutor for says, "I know how to solve this!! RANDOM ATTACK PHASE BEGIN"

I feel like you should be playing Opalescence with all those enchantments. Other than that, I dunno, it's a good-stuff deck. Copy Enchantment?
