Well, here's the deck I've been running for the last few months with constant tweaking. I'm at a place where I feel it's presentable. Adun Oakenshield is essentially the evolution of my old Kresh deck with a huge change in direction to creature combo - very similiar to Birthing Pod decks in Modern.

Couple questions and a few suggestions, although I do trust that you have thoroughly tested before posting the list.
How quickly do you usually try to combo off?
What is your back-up plan if someone keeps you from use of your graveyard?
I realize Skirk Prospector is on your short Flex Spot list, but it (or any sac outlet) does kill the table in combination with Kiki-Jiki before the champion trigger of Lightning Crafter resolves. Mogg Fanatic and Kiki-Jiki in the yard also kills the table with Necrotic Ooze on the field.

It's fairly consistent, I had a turn two earlier (Not too common). Most of the time it's turns 3-5, which I think is fairly good. Playing around gravehate isn't as bad as it seems due to KIki/Conscripts or just tutoring for Beast Within/Chaos Warp.
The problems with both of those cards is they don't do anything other than their narrow use. Sacrificing to add a mana is much more useful than dealing one damage or even three.
Right now, I'm considering Body Snatcher. I haven't tested it yet, but I think it could be promising.

True, Crafter has very few champion targets and would get stuck in your hand... I missed the Conscripts combo. My bad!

If you've dropped Mike, then what is Trike still doing in the list? I'm not sure what it's supposed to accomplish there.

Trike works with Devourer.
Also, if you're winning with Hermit Druid it can deal infinite damage due to Carrion Feeder & Kiki-Jiki's abilities with Necrotic Ooze.
What's your Dread Return fodder post-Druid? Bloodghast (land drop) + Rotting Rats (1B) + Druid? Is it worth running a 3rd recurring guy in case someone shoots Druid with his activation on the stack? You don't want to be left with only 2 creatures and no cards in library...I suppose you could always just wait till you had redundant creatures before you activate Druid, but you still run the risk of someone cycling Decree of Pain, flashing Rout, Topping Terminus, popping a Deed, casting a big Fault Line, or some similar play to take out your whole board with the activation on the stack. You already said no to Dscape zombie, but others?
IMO it just sucks when someone turns your 1-card combo from "i win" to "i lose". It would be like some new player casting Tome Scour on your pass-the-turn Doomsday pile...
On that note, what about Sylvan Safekeeper? It gives Necrotic Ooze the ability to protect itself a couple times while dealing infinite damage... Also protects other combo pieces depending on what you're trying to set up. Extremely efficient.

It's not a Hermit Druid deck, I mean, it's in here. But it's rarely a problem, especially with all of the mana dorks. I rarely end up even needing the additional creatures which is why I found myself cutting Dregscape Zombie.
I've thought about Sylvan Safekeeper. The problem is it's only good pre-Hermit Druid activation. Afterwards there's the ability from Dimir House Guard or just untapping Ooze in response with Devoted Druid, if you need to add counters to Ooze just sacrifice a creature using Carrion Feeder's ability.
Right now, I'm still thinking about Body Snatcher and possibly Scroll Rack.

Hello Bryant,
I was wondering if you could make a little list of the sweet interactions/kill-cons in this deck? I know about a few basic kills but I'm assuming that I let a few slide by due to my inexperience with the game. I hope it's not too much trouble.
Thanks!

I wont spam your thread with a different decklist but check my list below for 5 color hermit
http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?23989-EDH-Scion-of-the-Ur-Dragon-(Hermit-Druid-Combo)/page3
there are a lot of good ideas in there. postmortem lunge is definatly lacking in your list.
the list I'm playing has really been optimized for 1v1
there are cards you can substitute out for more multiplayer cards.

Hey, this is my first post on this site. I actually built your old kresh deck you wrote about earlier this year on Juniper Games, and have been tweaking it for awhile now. Before even seeing this new list, my list and your list are almost card for card the same, and I also recently changed my general to Oakenshield. All the mumbo jumbo aside; One card i think you may be interested in is Mogg Fanatic. I have it in my list and not only give you another Pattern enabler it also goes with necrotic ooze in this fashion:
Necrotic Ooze + Kiki-Jiki + Mogg Fanatic= Infinite Damage
EDIT: i guess someone already mentioned it. Sorry about that. anyway, i look forward to the development of the deck.

Cards that are on my radar:
Body Snatcher - It turns out that I may have misread this guy, I'm not sure if he's worth it anymore. My initial thoughts were that you don't discard a creature card, sacrifice him and then reanimate. However, it turns out that he exiles himself. That's just about the worst.
Apprentice Necromancer - I wish Necromancer itself had haste, is that too much to ask? Regardless, I think this will likely be included most likely over Body Snatcher due to it costing less and not requiring a sacrifice outlet to be good.
Postmortem Lunge - This card is fine, my concern is that it will be quite mana intensive to reanimate anything other than Hermit Druid. Am I just being too skeptical?
Swiftfoot Boots - Another way to give haste to Hermit Druid & Necrotic Ooze, part of me wonders if it's a little too redundant.
Scroll Rack - Still think this card will be very good, haven't found one to start testing with yet. With all the shuffling that I do, this card should be pretty amazing.

necromancer is a good include.
postmortem is the best reanimator. Your only concern should be hermit druid typically cause hes the fastest way to your goal
swiftfoot is ok, but by the time its being played and activated hopefully your already winning or in a better position.
scroll rack seems too slow, especially with all the tutors available.

That's a poor way to think regarding Postmortem Lunge. I find myself reanimating Kiki-Jiki, Zealous Conscripts, Terastodon and Necrotic Ooze way more than I do Hermit Druid. Five/Six mana to reanimate Kiki-Jiki seems like a lot.
Scroll Rack's value is the ability to fix poor draws or put cards back into your library that have better use there. It's really unfortunate when you draw Phyrexian Devourer, Triskeleon, Blood Ghast or anything that you wanted to Birthing Pod into.

There's always Makeshift Mannequin, Necromancy, Animate Dead and Corpse Dance if you're looking for reanimation that's cheaper than Postmortem Lunge.

The benefit of Lunge is that it doesn't have to be the top creature card and haste. I'm still unsure.

I am probably missing an obvious thing but is Adun the best commander for this deck? Would Sek'Kuar just be better if you're getting your sacrifice on? Or is it lulz and I should go away. :)

Adun is actually better due to Buried Alive and Entomb. Not to mention just continually recurring threats acting as if he was Genesis.
