If you are okay with paying 1UU and 2 mana to untap it each upkeep, which not win through Jace, the Mind Sculptor? Also, while I understand why you are using Dream Cache, it's very mana intensive. When you are trying to set yourself up, I think Preordain is going to give you a similar effect and just be way easier to cast, as long as Chalice isn't in play.
If you need the ramp and color fixing, Talisman of Progress will work well for you. Also, the inclusion of more artifact could allow you to run Thirst for Knowledge as well, which seems superior to Dream Cache.
Replenish might be worth looking at, considering how much enchantments play into your gameplan. It certainly allows you to get your gameplan back on track after countermagic or enchantment destruction. As for enchantments, I see that you looked at Parallax Tide, but Parallax Wave could be a blowout from the side. Humility and Moat seem like decent inclusions as well.
Good luck at SCG, definitely a cool effect that will catch a lot of people off guard.

Wow, a deck that plays Dream Tides? And Dream Cache? And Land Equilibrium?

Awesome.

Props to you if you can make this work, just because of the cool factor of those cards.

I've long played 3 Dream Tides in the sideboard of my Mono Blue Control deck as a bomb vs. Maverick and Thresh type of decks. It really does work well vs those aggro decks, and it's not too shabby vs. any aggro deck if you also play Back to Basics. Very underrated/underappreciated card in a format swamped with green creatures.

I just got back from doing some playtesting. I think I may:

-2 Dream Tides
+2 Detention Sphere

And in the sideboard:

-4 Oblivion Ring
+4 Suppression Field

I needed a game-one answer for planeswalkers.
You know, you could probably splash for Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas and use that as a cost-effective (both dollar value and mana cost) win condition.
This opinion is formulated with no playtesting, but it seems that this deck wants to quick ramp out mana rocks, then a threat, then a lock piece. Understanding that while you may not have the option of making immediate changes, what about a deck like this?

Artifacts (16)
4x Chalice of the Void
3x Talisman of Progress
3x Talisman of Dominance
2x Tangle Wire
4x Trinisphere

Enchantment (10)
3x Ghostly Prison
3x Propaganda
4x Land Equilibrium

Sorcery (8)
4x Armageddon
4x Ponder

Planeswalkers (4)
4x Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas

Land (22)
4x Ancient Tomb
4x City of Traitors
4x Flooded Strand
4x Polluted Delta
3x Underground Sea
3x Tundra

Obviously, a deck that needs to slam everything without disruption, but combining lock pieces like Trinisphere and Land Equilibrium or using Tangle Wire as a colorless alternative to Propaganda/Ghostly Prison?

Just a thought, no idea if that is good. Tezzeret seems nice in a game where you have mana rocks and they have nothing. And just as a general thought, aren't Talismans just strictly better in this deck? Ideally, there are 0 lands on board ever, so having mana when you opponent doesn't seems decent.

Have you considered running Impulse? It offers great digging power and does not get shut down by Chalice, unlike Ponder.

Also, this deck *could* be a good home for Invoke Prejudice, assuming you can consistently generate quadruple blue.

Essentially, this deck should be LegendsExpansionEnchantments.dec :)

Maybe a stupid question, but why ponder and not brainstorm? Too few fetches and shuffle effects? Cool deck by the way ;)

I would play more mana rocks (as in mini1337s list) and maybe a couple of ravages of war, and a couple of wrath of god (seems easier to cast than supreme verdict) for the emergency.

I like the interaction of Armageddon and Sup Field. Should be worth a go, as it hoses so many decks.

Big fan of this deck. I'd like to buy it, do you mind if I steal it? :really:

m1n11337s mentionned that deck last night and I looked at it by curiosity.

It's a really good build! I believe more mana rocks are required as well.
Might try to put it together!

How'd you do there? Report?

So I would like to work on some further play-testing before dropping an accurate tournament report. I did learn that this is problematic:

Turn One: Delver of Secrets
Turn Two: Flip Delver of Secrets
Rest of the game: Counter-magic + Wasteland

LOL! Welcome to Legacy in 2013! I just got back into the game semi-recently, so I feel your pain. RUG is everywhere! (Also, you probably should have had a judge come over on that Chalice/Spell-Pierce interaction; Chalice is a MUST effect, so the Spell Pierce had to have been countered.)

Incorrect. Chalice can now miss if neither player remembers the trigger.
