I live in america and was wondering if this is a legit place to buy cards?

Anyone living in america purchase cards from them?

How do you send the Euros to pay? Does paypal take care of this?

Is this the European version of TCGplayer?

It is legit, but you cannot get things sent to the US. Find a friend in the EU. :)

I used to buy there, but their customer service is atrocious. It's the most buyer hostile environment you can imagine, so I stopped buying there. I've had stuff not arriving multiple times, and they were very unhelpful and pretty much absurt even when I shipped it with insurance. The last time I didn't receive an isured order just made a paypal claim, got my money back and never used it since. I think they blocked my account, but until they shift from buyer hostile to buyer friendly (like PayPal and eBay) I wouldn't recommend anyone using it.

Tbh, as a seller/reseller(flipper) I can asure you that this isn't a bad thing as long as you buy from recommended sellers which care for their rating. I can tell you that I have once or twice a month an issue with buyers trying to blackmail me (like 25% refund or bad reputation). In addition spanish sellers rate hilariously bad (mint is ex in reality).

Pal, if you are looking for specific Euro-Foil or such, I can help you out and send them overseas

dont necessarily want euro foils, just want regular english foils. They happen to be like 50$ cheaper overseas than here. Specifically foil polluted deltas, along with all the other foil fetches.

Custumoer support is actually nonexsistent on MKM, but then again they only take 5% so..

Just buy from sellers that care for their feedback. Buying fomr a person with a lot of mediocre/bad feedback is a lottery, it might be you who will be the next leaving bad feedback.. but seller couldn't care less.

But still, overall MKM is great.

I'm sure they would do if you agree with the potential greater shipping cost. The issue is that you can't choose a non-EU-delivery country as your home adress.

You can still fill your bankroll with PayPal and choose a friend within the Euro Zone as shipping adress aka Proxy-adress and either let him ship or Settle the shipping obligations with the seller before the buy.

I don't know why you're so surprised. Half the stuff on eBay doesn't ship to Europe and even if they do, the shipping is $30+...

I've used MKM on many occasions and works fine if you select the good sellers (really good and good with enough ratings). Shipping to the US would have to go through a EU buyer/friend and then he could ship to the US I suppose.

the issue with ebay is that sellers are not covered unless they can track it and tracking is expensive when shipping outside the us.

There is a customer service, they usually just can not do anything for you if untrackable mail is lost because according to German law a contract is filled between buyer and seller which they only help to realize. Fulfilling the parts of the contract is the responsibility of the involved parties. If untrackable mail gets lost you might sue the seller but as usually word stands against word the party accused of committing a crime will be judged innocent. It has always been this way.

Sure, if you are used to the completely fucked up entirely seller hostile Ebay/Paypal system MCM sucks quite a lot.

Just to clarify - you violate the TOA by getting stuff shipped directly to the US (even if trackable), shit happens to you so you just claim money rightfully belonging to MCM / the seller via paypal? I do not even wonder why they did not expand further than Europe as probably a lot of people suggested when it was brainstorming time.

This is because of two reasons.

First, shipping to overseas greatly affects the "shipping time" which is a median of your shipping process time. Shipping in Germany Takes about 2 days, to Spain often 2 weeks and overseas it would be hilariously push that stat in your seller-profile. Cross-Euro-shipping is bad enough.

Second, you insure either 30€ or 500€ (with MCM-standards) at your delivery service (costs for that covered in the calculated MCM-shipping-cost), meaning that if a tracked package worth 50€ gets lost, your delivery service refunds 30€ and MCM the remaining 20€ (if anybodys mocking about the 5% they take per trade, now knows why they do aside the usual costs). Shipping overseas means likely an increased lost-rate and can get annoying because shipping is never covered by the refunds. Try to find a solution if 30€ of shipping costs need to be covered after a package got lost

www.mtg4less.de is one of the best online sellers from Europe (Germany). Trough checkout US customers get automaticually "vat reduction" of around 16%. Not all the cards are listed there, but they have most top cards in stock and reply to E-Mails very fast.
It is the leading shop for German MTG cards and they have reasonable shipping rates and ship worldwide.

A lot of people have seen you around. It would have been in better taste if you had straight up said "this is my site".

Just my 2c.

Nice ad Bro. Greetings from Berlin, Germany

I think you have a limited knowledge about the German market if you do not know us and we have some very good deals for buying cards as well. We trade 535 junk rares for any typ 2 booster box!

Unfortunately we have to fixs some technical problems and therafter we we will reduce the prices for theros below the mcm prices from German traders! We have for instance 250 Stormbreath Dragons and 100 Liliana in stock:-) Please tell me any other trader in Europe who can sell you such quanities!

And no we are not hilariously expensive! We have the lowest prices for some items in Europe. For Booster Boxes we can easily beat most competitors within the EU! 74 Euro including shipping within the European Union and 73 Euro for boxes delivered within German if you take 24 boxes. (lower prices are also possible for big customers)
Wich trader in Europe can will sell you dragonshield sleeves for 7.5 Euro shipped if you buy only 1 pack? Good luck if you find anybody, but you quote something here before you checked things well. We supply leading mcm traders with single cards and mtg accecoirs so you can be sure that we can compete with most traders.

you are right. But the things I wrote were all correct. We sell tons of magic cards, dragonshield and Ultra Pro every week and are definitely among the top 5 mtg single card sellers all over Europe regarding to revenue. There are hardly any traders who bought over 1000 Theros boxes in Germany.

Sometimes;-) On many cards I cannot fight against MKM prices, but on thousands of cards I can beat! If you need a specific item which is not older than 2 years you can ask me and I will try to beat your reference price. Just give me a chance to do so. (On non foils!!)

I registered on MKM with the address of the US embassy in London. Most sellers if you approach them will send international or through third party. Take feedback on that site very seriously, I highly suggest not buying from mediocre sellers as more times than not you will get burned.

Can't stress more the reputation thingy. I usually don't go below Good Seller.

I wonder if we shoudln't make a sticky with fellow sourcer from Europe willing to serve as 3rd party on MKM. I can procide such service if needed and I think a lot can.

Hi,

I live in Europe and I'm available for receiving cards bought by americans from EU and send them to US.
All this for 0% fee, all I ask is someone to do the same for me from US to EU, since in the past I found amercan sellers who shipped only into US and I couldn't buy their cards.

My name's Riccardo and I'm from Florence,Italy (EU). I'm not a professional seller, but I have accounts on Magic Card Market and eBay with excellent evaluations on both, you can check my feedbecks.
I've already shipped to US so I know how it works and all the custom duties stuff....I'm kind of experienced.
