So I've been wanting to contribute more to the Magic community especially the Legacy community, but I just don't know how to go about it. I would love to make some game play videos as I have tons of decks, and I'm a pretty decent player. I've considered podcasts, but don't have any friends are as passionate about the format as I am. Maybe write articles, but I'm horrible at putting my thoughts and ideas down on paper.
I do currently have a tiny, and I do mean tiny Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/MTG-Legacy-Community-For-North-Texas-and-Southern-Oklahoma/193589124025556) that I run to help out local are stores. My goal with the Facebook page is to provide easy access to Articles, Podcasts, Top 8-16 deck list, and upcoming tournaments.
I still don't feel like I've done anything, probably because I haven't but I guess what my real question is- Has anyone else had this idea of wanting to contribute to this community and just kind of got stuck? and if So what kind of things did you think of doing?

In many aspects of doing things, people are going to get stuck because they feel they can't contribute as well as anyone else. The best advice? Just start doing something, anything, but make it a regular thing that people can start to follow.
Want to make Youtube videos of playing on Magic Online? Just start doing it. Maybe post it here when you have a few good quality videos (I mean sound and visual quality, it's okay if you're stumbling through or losing a lot, just make sure you talk a little about why you're doing things). Want to be a twitch streamer? Start doing it Daily, regardless of if you feel like it or not. You don't need the best computer or best microphone to get people to watch, even though that helps, as long as it's passable quality and looks/sounds okay, people could start watching.
Want to start writing articles on magic, but can't put the thoughts down properly? Just do it anyway. Seriously. You'll improve as long as you care, just like everything else in life. Just pick a schedule and make yourself do it. The greatest writers generally have multiple obscure short stories and articles that no one knows about until they hit their stride.
Talking about Magic your thing? Then start a weekly podcast. There are hundreds of them, sure, but many of them stop producing content before they get a real following. Don't be depressed if the first couple months don't give you 1k followers. Just keep setting up the Dominoes so that eventually everything will fall into place.
Other than that, try to use social media to get your content out. You don't need to spam everywhere, but The Source is the best place for high-level legacy content. Facebook sounds good for your local store.
Just start doing things, the rest is out of your control until then.

Another thing to definitely shoot for is setting yourself apart from your 'competitors.' This could be anything from your bonafides to simply discussing a subject not a lot of people talk about. For example, you'll have a lot less competition writing or casting about legacy or vintage than you would standard or EDH

This is something I try to stay really on top of. Every time we put out an episode, it gets posted here, Twitter, and FaceBook. This way, anyone who's already a fan gets notified and hopefully, they'll comment, like, retweet, etc, to help spread the word.
