Can loss of life be redirected?

Was this changed? I can't find anything on this in the Comp. rules.

You'll notice all redirection effects say "damage".

"Damage redirection" effects are so common that they have their own term and rules entry. An analogous effect that replaces loss of life could be created but wouldn't merit a term or a rules entry since it wouldn't be common.
