As I am completely sure somebody will ask in our playgroup I want to confirm my thoughts...

According to EDH rules I re-checked:
"Players may choose any legendary creature as their Commander, although some choices may be met with disapproval by other players."

Example Thassa, God of the Sea
From my understanding each God is a "Legendary Enchantment Creature - God". This qualifies those cards to be a Commander.

Is this true?

Also all gods have static ability based on Devotion which prevents them from being a creature if certain conditions are met.

Does this static ability work in other zones? Like graveyard for example. I am asking because of reanimation.

Thanks.

If you can use Karn, Silver Golem as a General, the Gods should work the same.
They are creatures, and they are legendary, so they are useable as General in EDH.

The Gods are both creature and enchantment when not in play.
The "If your devotion is..."-clause should only work when they are on the battlefield.
If the clause were to work in other zones as well, that should have been noted specially.
So Reanimation should be no problem at all, both via stuff like Exhume and via Replenish.

Of course to be absolutely sure we should await the special rulings for the cards, but this is how they should work according to current MtG rules.
