Well, the latest one is out - comparing two similar decks again.

I generally really enjoy your articles but this one and to a lesser extent, your storm article left some to be desired.
Your analysis was hardly ground breaking or really indepth at all. I think anyone with even a base level knowledge of Legacy could have made your same conclusions.
I was really hoping for a more Sneak and Show vs Storm compared to Omni Tell vs Storm style article. Something that really shows the depth of your knowledge rather then your ability to do well written base level anaylsis.
As I said, your other articles have always impressed and even the storm one was solid but this one was hardly your best work.

@davelin: Happy you liked it, thanks for reading :)
@nodahero: First, to clarify, I suppose you mean the "comparative storming" article when you talk about the storm article like this one?
As to the analysis being too basic, well, for hardcore players of the format, it probably is. You guys weren't the major target audience for these articles, though, and among less invested players, these differences are far less clearly understood, at least for the storm archetypes and I had requests to do the same for other decks, especially S&T when I wrote the storm one. The number of truly dedicated players is still reasonably low. I know a lot of people who have been playing Legacy for years that couldn't truly define the differences between ANT and TES - other than "well, one has gold lands" - and who would treat Sneak and Show as the same thing as OmniShow minus vulnerability to Humility. Those aren't bad players, mind you, or total n00bs. They're guys who know some Legacy but never made the effort to understand the deep down details about archetypes they don't play themselves. That's who these articles were mainly addressed to. I can totally see where this one about Show and Tell was less necessary as well as less profound.
I'll remember that they aren't particularly useful/interesting to some of you in the future, so thanks for sharing!
