I enjoy being able to play control decks that can threaten to just get free wins (tap out style to some extent) I also like tutors and being able to toolbox. I understand that control decks are a lot different in Legacy than they are in Modern so it's been hard to find a deck I might enjoy to play the most. Thanks you all!

This isnt really the right place to post this.
But you might like something like one of these tap out, toolbox, control(ish) decks:
- UB Tezzeret control: http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?26246-Deck-8Tezz-dec-UB-Tezzeret
- Nic Fit: http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?20983-Deck-Nic-Fit-(GBx-Explorer-Zenith-Control)
- Imperial Painter (a bit more of a combo deck): http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?25661-Deck-Imperial-Painter
Luckily each of those threads actually have good primers.

God I miss the days of RGBSA. That was the funnest/sickest deck I've ever played. Also, probably the best green control deck of all time.

UW Mirarcles?
This. It can be tap out, it can have a tool box with enlightened tutor, and it can randomly win games via RIP HELM.

RIP Miracles or Turbo Eldrazi would be your best bet
RIP is a pretty hard control deck with the ability to go "oops I win" sometimes, it's pretty slow, and you'll have a hard time with a real aggressive deck (such as Goblins or Jund), on the other hand, main deck terminus makes your midrange matchups decent/favorable and maindeck Rest in Peace can randomly win you games if an opponent is unable to deal with it (such as RUG)
Turbo is probably the closest parallel to Tron decks in modern, but it's honestly closer to Mono-U or GR than UW.
(U/W tron always looked really sweet btw)

Yeah UW is more like a big control deck whereas Turbo Eldrazi is basically a COntrol/COmbo deck.

You would probably like lands. You use a big mana advantage to take over games, and you even get to play intuition better than any deck in the format. It has the 2-card stage-depths combo for free wins.

If you're into Toolbox control decks, UB Tezzeret is a reasonable choice. 12-Post also seems pretty logical - it's mostly a tapout ramp/control deck that can win out of nowhere with Show and Tell.
