Do you live in Connecticut and are looking to play Legacy? Are you unsure if your LGS (local gaming store) hosts Legacy? If you're like me and thirsty for Legacy, but not completely free every day of the week to play cards, then you'll want to know when and where you can get your Legacy fix week in and week out.
I'll post three places I know of that are hosting Legacy every week, but if anyone else from CT would like to advertise their weekly Legacy watering hole, I encourage you to post that information so other people interested in Legacy might learn about your location and even be motivated to come!
(I know nothing about prizes; I only know location, times, and prices.)

I like this place a lot. The owner is pretty cool, and so are the players. I hear that sometimes Legacy doesn't go off due to low attendance, but every time I showed up I got to play. That's probably because one of the regulars is a really cool guy, and he always lends his other decks for other players to play if there aren't people to start a weekly. Until last week I've stopped going, because Card Empire is a 40 min drive, and I can't afford that much mileage week in and week out. But if you live in or near Torrington, stop by Card Empire and play some Legacy, man!

Now, this is a much more ideal location for me to play Legacy, since it's only ~15 min away, and only 6 min away from Costco, so it's a pretty economical choice for me. Although personally, I would prefer the entry fee for Legacy to be $5, instead of $10; but if people show up, I'll be fine with $10. King's Landing just started hosting Legacy last week... but barely anyone showed up, despite lots of people showing interest, according to the shop. I was almost afraid this was going to be similar to my last experience at an LGS (which I won't name) that promised to host Legacy but did absolutely no work to promote or advertise it. However, one of the owners at King's Landing said that he'll work to advertise weekly Legacy more, and he's the admin for the shop's Facebook page. I've seen the page, and it's pretty active. I also told the owner about The Source, but today I'll remind him on the King's Landing FB page to promote on here.

Unfortunately for me, Ice Imports is located in South Windsor, which is about a 45 min drive, and Legacy starts at 7 pm. I'm really enthusiastic about Legacy, but I'd prefer not to leave my home at 6 pm on a Tuesday to play at Ice and come back around midnight or later. Seriously though, when I asked people about where I can play Legacy in CT, they all referred to Ice Imports as the best place to play Legacy. For $5, you have the chance to win prizes worth multiples of your entry fee. I heard one of the Sourcers here who plays at Ice won a Lion's Eye Diamond for 1st place, and that card costs between $80-$100, I believe. That's an incredible prize for just playing for five bucks! Of course, with prizes that sick, it's obvious the competition at Ice Imports is something fierce. But isn't the ferocity of competition the reason why most of us play Legacy in the first place?
So there you have it, three decent places to play Legacy, and one just needs a little backing with promotion. If you are the least bit interested in playing Legacy, don't just say you're interested: show up at your local LGS store and support Legacy! If your LGS supports Legacy, promote their Legacy weeklies on The Source or get the store to promote the format here. If you play Legacy and have extra decks, let your friends or other players borrow them for the weekly so that there are enough players to pool in money for a big enough prize.
