x-0 10 tcg points and a playmat plus other goodies

here is the top 8

1-merfolk
2-veteran explorer
3-Burn
4-Merfolk
5-Oops, all spells
6-U/b Standstill
7-Rug Delver
8-Burn

please do not reply to this thread asking about true name nemesis, its good but not impossible to get rid of and its obviously a necessity for merfolk

Is that the report?
Also how was Nemesis for you?

Amongst all the information given, I think the only thing lacking was information about TNN. Please elaborate on that matter.

Enjoyed the report. How did TNN decks do at your tourney?

Great report. Very good read. All I am left wondering is how well true-name nemesis preformed.

TNN was good everyone but I would have played fish no matter what. I played 3 true names and sometimes the mana wasn't in my favor. I went to those first to side out because combo was pretty high at this event. True name is a must have 2 of for sure because it gives fish a lot of support. I foubd myself holding him to block 60% of the time. When the mana wasn't in my favor it was a pitch card to force of will

Amazing report, Kevin. My favorite part was the report. Do you have any additional information about TNN?

Thrilling read, and I'm glad to hear about your deck decisions and the journey of True Name Nemesis from zero to hero. Will look forward to similar reads in the future.

[REPORT

small tournament this time but still plenty of tough decisions

2-1 against oops, all spells

game 1-he tries to go for the combo and i force it enough said

game 2-has combo, i hate mull to 4 for the force sadly, which is removed with cabal therapy

game 3- sideboard graveyard hate wins me

2-1 against burn

game one i get there by making him run out of has and having countered everything

game 2-well burn is burn and sometimes it gets there

game 3- aether vial gets me ahead so lavamancer cant do anything which leads to victory

2-1 veteran explorer

game 1- he plays double explorer double cabal to a turn 3 gravetitan, if only i had true name

game 2- true name beats the scavenging ooze equipped with a jitte

game 3- he lands a choke but mutavault and lords off vial brings me the win

Final game
2-1 Mirror Match

game 1- race to win

game 2-pulls the jitte but i all ready got rid of my force due to an aether vial

game 3- countered jitte this time and took the win with double true name in hand as force of will pitch targets (it happens)

sideboarding is pretty simple, i play flusterstorm in the board so that always comes in in most combo decks. These days combo can go off as fast as turn 1 (oops all, dredge, tin fins, reanimator) Flusterstorm is stupid good against those decks. I usually side oat TNN against combo, but im sure everyone else does because a 3-1 for 3 isnt stopping an elesh norn or iona from coming into play.

Feel free to message me any questions and thanks for viewing!

You brag about TNN and then he only made a difference in one game haha.

Thanks for the read though! Deck list?

I did not brag about him, he was used in more than one game I'm not going to write about every time I casted him and what happened merfolk alone is enough to win the deck was all ready good without true name people that disagree are probably just bad pilots

Long time lurker. First time poster. This report brought me out of the wood work to simply say, "Bravo TNN!"
