OK, Carsten, your storm quota is up:wink:
Why not do a series on the tier two decks? See if you can improve them using your excellent analytical skills.

Awesome (and hilarious) article, everyone has epic punts once in a while. I have them all the time, so I understand :P.

The most epic of punts at GP DC:

It's round 7, and I'm sitting at 4-2. Next loss ends my tournament. I'm on 5c DDFT and he's on RUG. It's game 3...

I Gitaxian Probe, see he has Spell Pierce, so I play Orim's Chant and pay for Pierce. I have a Gitaxian Probe in hand along with an LED, a Dark Ritual and Doomsday, and still one black source open. Super easy win, right?

Well, my opponent's conversational tendencies start distracting me as I'm resolving Doomsday... I manage to make the easy pile (Ideas Unbound, LED, Sensei's Divining Top, LED, Burning Wish). My opponent is super excited at this point to watch me combo out (although I'm not sure why, since he's at 4-2 as well and also about to get knocked out). Anyway, I'm getting super flustered and tired at this point, and I manage to cast the Gitaxian Probe in my hand post Doomsday and spaced on even PLAYING the LED much less cracking it in response to cast Ideas Unbound. Probably the most boneheaded play I've made in years to knock myself out of the event.

So yeah, that was fun. :)
