Ahah, got the chance to open my package this morning!! (will post pics later).

It came from Austria, with a nice note and the following:

- Foil German birds of paradise
- Foil Beast within
- Foil Phyrexian Revoker
- WPN Damnation
- WPN Wrath of god

It went beyond my expectations.
I did not ask for a Foil Wrath of god or a foil damnation but they will both go and replace my non foil cards in my EDH decks...
All other cards hit the spot, i'm glad to have these as i'm a step closer to completing my Foil EDH 1vs1 Deck.

THanks a lot man (sorry can't remember your name right now... i was too excited to see the cards).
This will be put to good use.

PS: i'm glad i did not receive a super stacked package, it's somehow around the same value i sent myself so i'm not ashamed finally.

Made a special trip into my studio today to snag the mail, and was lucky enough to get Akatsuki as my SS! Huge thanks man! I've been playing Team America like crazy lately. This ss obviously did some research into my board activity.. these will be a great addition! Hope to see your continued success with the deck as well!

Actually I wasn't perfectly clear. These are Dan's OWN foil stalkers that he top 8'ed Denver and top 16'ed DC with. They are also his favorite creatures in all of magic. :D

Sorry this is so late but I was on a trip over the holidays.

But lo and behold a package awaited me on my return. No pictures but it was full of lovely German cards. The highlight for me were the German Brainstorms.
So, thank you HoneyT for your very sweet gift and note. The Brainstorms are immediately getting sleeved up and never de-sleeved!

So, I opened my mailbox just now and went "bill, bill, ad, ad, Game Informer, and something for me? Cool!"

I opened it up and promptly let out a surprised noise. It was my Secret Santa who went above and beyond what my expectations were.

I don't know how I really overlooked this thread before, but I'll have to remember it at the end of the year, especially abuseable as I can actually do decent alters at this point to really surprise someone. Aside from all that though I'm curious, does anyone have the numbers on how many people participate in this? I'm guessing by the looks of it & some of these responses, I could see it being in the 100's somewhere which is, quite awesome!

I might sound corny saying this, but I truly think this Xmas thing we do every year is amazing as it truly gives me the impression of being part of a worldwide community. It was a honor for me being part of this for the 3rd year in a row and taking part in the organization last year (actually 2 years ago :D)
