Jace, the Mind Sculptor has dropped to almost half of what he cost not that long ago. I believe this is partly because of FTV: 20 and partly because he is a lot less played now for various reasons (TNN being one of them).
Any ideas why? Is he going to continue to drop or are we going to see his price go back to before?
Not sure if this is the right forum for this topic - if not I apologize.

I see no downside to playables in this format getting cheaper. I think he will continue to be a 1-2 of in those midrange blue decks like esper and a 3+ option for control for many, many years to come.

Get 'em while they're (not) hot, or wait until the price goes further down if you are confident that TNN won't be banned and nothing Legacy playable will be printed in Born of the Gods (seems likely given their recent streak of printing Eternal crap, Commander decks notwithstanding).

Ken Nagle is in charge of the set. I would at least expect one card that's a major format changer.

Keep in mind that if it gets unbanned in Modern, WHICH IT SHOULD BE, it's going to be worth infinite :)

probably not worth infinite because that means it's likely to get reprinted again....I do however agree that it should be unbanned in modern. Modern is fast enough to compete with a jtms. additionally the powercreep MTG has experienced since JTMS puts jace in perspective and not out of control.
