Hello, The Source. Does anyone know of any venues that host Legacy tournaments in DC? I've lived here for a couple years now and haven't come across any evidence of organized Legacy whatsoever, to my great dismay. There aren't even any shops that sell singles. Am I wildly incorrect or am I the only Legacy player in this highly dysfunctional city? Please help!!

Perhaps I should expand my question a tad: what about Legacy in Northern Virginia or Southern Maryland? Any takers?

Curio Cavern in Springfield is very good. And then Baltimore/Glen Burnie has a million stores that offer legacy tournaments. Xanadu, Games and Stuff, Squabbles etc

Do you have a preference for any one of those stores? Also, don't you find it bizarre that Baltimore has Legacy competitions and DC does not?

Sorry, but your wildly incorrect.

I just got back from a thirty plus weekly from Springfield (NoVA.) DC has some of the most competitive legacy on the east cost. Within an hour of DC there are probably three or four weekly legacy tournaments. The best turnout is usually Curio Cavern though. It's a great place to play.

You really can't beat Wednesday nights at Curio. For weekend tournaments, Games and Stuff and Squabbles are fantastic and Xanadu is good as well. Dream Wizards also runs Legacy events, but they are less good. Victory and Comics and Gaming Fairfax are pretty bad for Legacy, but they do run events as well.
