MTG Deals Legacy Tournament

When: Saturday, February 15 at 3:00 PM (Registration begins at noon)

Where: MTG Deals
136 S. San Gabriel Blvd.
San Gabriel, CA 91776

Format: Legacy Constructed (Swiss w/ cut to top 8)

Prizes & Entry: Entry fee will be $25. $500 store credit is guaranteed to the top 8 finishers regardless of attendance. If there are at least 30 players, the prize pool will increase to $750, and if there are at least 40 players, the prize pool will increase to $1000.

Decklists will be required. We will have them on hand before the tournament, but feel free to print yours out ahead to time.

Yes, the event is actually starting at 3 PM. We're also running a team sealed event the same day and we didn't want the start times to conflict.

Why do these always start so late. It says 3:00 start time, but realistically, it will start around 3:30-4:00.

So I would waste half the day before lunch mulling around the house, going to lunch, then wait for the tournament to start.

If the tournament starts earlier like around 11:00, I could play, and if i suck that day, I can drop around 2:00 - 3:00 and still have a whole day ahead of me to do something. But now, if i suck, the earliest I would leave is around 6:00.

Waste of a day to be honest.
