MTG Alpha card frames

Hello

So my question today is do Alpha have a different card frame from "newer" pre-8th edition cards? Like, are the black borders on Alpha cards thicker than the black borders on say a card from ice age or even Beta?.

There just seems to be inconsistencies with the black border on alpha cards. Sometimes the white dot at the bottom is closer top, and other times it's closer bottom. Is it normal?

Alpha cards have more radiused corners. You can even kind of see it in the pictures on gatherer.

Sorry, I fixed the links. I understand the rounded corner difference but what I don't understand is why some of the borders are thicker than others from cards in the same print set, like the pictures I posted. Like in the bayou, the white dot in the bottom corners is more towards the top where as the white dot in the bottom corners of the plateau is more towards the bottom.

Yes it is normal. Alpha had many inconsistencies. Alpha had lots of printing errors. Hell it didn't even have volcanic island included in it.
