Hi there. Sorry to post a thread that doesn't concern most of The Source's users.
I'm looking for a competitive and diverse legacy metagame in Brazil, more specifically São Paulo. The reason I came to The Source looking for this information is that I thought people passionate about legacy would definitely know and follow this website, and this is the kind of people I wish to play with.
In case you're reading this and you're in the same situation as me, let us take the initiative and build a new legacy community, in which we can organize better tournaments than what we (at least I) see in our contry nowadays.

Unfortunately here in São Paulo there isn't a big Legacy scene. It's been dying for years.
Our Nationals is a private event that barely makes up for the effort of getting an invite.
There is a weekly tournament that usually gather 8-10 man that I usually play @Magic House (http://magichouse.com.br/) at Wednesday night and Sunday afternoon, but the payout is in store credit, and they have quite few stuff there. Still, nice to play there.
Here (http://ligamagic.com.br/) is the most updated database with tournaments in every store in Brazil. On the right side there's a Calendar with tournaments sorted by date and type, so you can find something there.
As for building up a new legacy comunity, count me in.

I figured it would be like that. I try searching in ligamagic.com.br every week for a decent tourny, but I rarely find anything outside of Standard.
On the new community matter, how can we go about this? Do you have any experience organizing tournaments? How about people also interested in doing this? I have a fellow legacy player who would definitely support this endeavour.
I see quite a few people with legacy decks in the stores, I think we just need to gather them up.

Nothing I can do really. Moving out of the country in 2 months.
If there's something cool in the next month I'll sure be there. Other than that, will be at magic house wednesday. Try to pop up.

Unfortunaly, Magic House is too far away for me, which I think is the biggest reason we're having this discussion in the first place. Magic Domain (South Zone) is having Saturday Legacy tournies (on and off) which is attracting quite a few people (16-17 this Saturday). I'm trying to bring up the subject with people in there, will see how it goes.
Anyway, good luck on your travels, and thanks for the interest. It is a start.

Absolutely, I was the one playing Werewolf Stompy, though I didn't get far: still new to the deck.
What deck were you on? Name's Pedro, btw.
The next tourny will be on the 22nd, and I sure will be there!
