seriously, this card reads amazingly. I'm not sure what they were thinking having this guy floating around in standard but he seems like he's perfect for legacy. 3 of maybe. Something that can be saved with karakas. Anyone played with it yet?

He gets through TNN (doesn't die)
he is undercosted
in addition to being undercoated he has vigilance
Additionally he makes tokens when in combat....
next to tarmogoyf he's one of the bigger creatures in the format

Totally off topic but...This set seemed to contribute good cards to white in legacy, and RTR contributed to BG. Maybe in the next block we can see some love for red.

Might be pretty cool in D&T. I'm probably going to try out 2 copies once Born of the Gods is released on Modo.

Interesting side note:
While D&T has no space for it, he actually becomes a draw engine with Mentor of the Meek. And they're all soldiers to boot for what it's worth.
