Description
Format: Legacy
Doors open: 10am
Sign ups: 11am
Start Time: 12pm
Cost: $25

Structure: Swiss with cut to top 8

1st Place:
$400

2nd Place:
$200

3rd-4th Place:
$100

5th-8th Place:
$50

40 people guarantees the prize.
Prize pool increases after 41 players.
Side Drafts & win a boxes will be held later in the day (after 5pm)

In the event that less than 40 people show up, we'll give 100% Cash Payout.

All prizes are available as store credit at 120%.

Players may choose packs of from any set in standard, at $2.5/ pack. (at this rate, 1st place is 160 packs currently)

Thanks for always posting events that you find. I'm not sure if I'll make any of them in the area, even though I was going to the SCG (luckily my hotel refunded me), its nice knowing what other events are out there for options.

According to a tweet from the store, the event just got leveled up to a SCG IQ. More prize support, or just guaranteeing the winner will ascend into Super Saiyan mode?

EDIT: Ohhh, so apparently, "leveling up" the event into a SCG IQ "levels down" the prize support. The 1st place went from $400 to $250, and second place went from ~$200 to... 24 packs of the current set :rolleyes:

They will upgrade back to their original 1K support if 40 people show up.

It was always a 1k only if 40 people registered.
