Nah dual lands ain't got shit to do with any gentlemen's agreement. Hell if anything, the "don't BE that guy" nonsense keeps them nice and safe and desirable in that format; you're less likely to lose friends over your favorite game-ending 2-card combo than you are casting Armageddon just to lock things down. It's kind of pedantic, actually (and I *like* EDH, fneh)
