Congratulations once again!
Your list obviously treated you really well, but you mentioned feeling disadvantaged in the mirror. Would you make any changes if you anticipated encountering the mirror frequently?

Gratz!
Immediatley iidentified you during your 1st Top 8 match as Einherjer from the Source as I saw your altered Tops & Brainstorm's ;-)
Was really happy to see you sitting Top 8 especially as a german speaking player ;-) Sure you're Austrian but we are brothers in minds

Congratulation !!!!
Very well done !!!
Haven't seen all games until yet, what I've seen you played very well and fast with that deck !!!

Thank you very much for the kind words.
The mirror is the only match I lost throughout the whole weekend, and I am not entirely sure it's my lists fault. The other lists were simply better prepared for the mirror or were piloted by PV. Battling REBs MB is kind of a hard task, as is dealing with Stoneforge Mystic after you boarded. Maybe finding a slot for the 3rd Clique could be worth it.
Yeah, I do play fast, simply because I've been playing this deck since eternities. Plus I hate draws. But instead of complaining about slow opponents I just try to not waste any time while playing, that's why I play speedmagic :)

Congrats again, very impressive performance!

I find your list rather bad to be honest. Those two Ponders and Counterspells seem excessive and only two Entreat the Angels is questionable as well.

This guy plays ridiculously fast, based on camera matches. Congratulations, and this top 4 raises the bar higher, we demand trophy from you for the next 1,000+ Legacy event.

lol, you find a list to be bad, when it finishes 4th in at a 1,500 Legacy tournament. I can't wait for your reasoning.

All 3 Miracles lists in the top 8 ran 2 Ponders and 2 counterspells in the main.

I guess those are all bad as well.

I guess ponders and counterspells are debatable, since they're basically flex spots. I wouldn't call it "bad" by any means though. And "only 2" entreat? I've never seen a list run 3, most lists I see are actually cutting 1. This guys whole post is silly.

@Einherjer: great report, and awesome performance! I especially loved how fast you played on camera. Very impressive.

If you have never seen a list running 3 Entreat, you might be interested in this list: http://www.tcdecks.net/deck.php?id=12902&iddeck=94655
This article by Carsten Kotter explains why you might want to play 3-4 Entreat in Miracle: http://www.starcitygames.com/article/26145_Army-Of-God.html
Here is a more recent article of his with 3 Entreat: http://www.starcitygames.com/article/27479_Switching-It-Up.html
All that being said, I think you are right that Miracles *usually* plays 2 Entreat MD, with sometimes a third one in the sideboard. 1 is too little IMO if you want to close out games.

2 Counterspells are a liability since you have Force, CB and Pierce, Ponder is more of a filler card and isn't particularly strong and only 2 Entreat is risky as it can cause problems when trying to finish the game. I think you had a good day at that tournament.
Edit: Nonetheless, it goes without words that I'm open-minded to hear your apology for the odd list.
Phillip, congrats on your performance!

Welcome to my ignore list. A GP Top 4 finisher does not need to ever apologize for his list or play skill.

LOL~~~! OMG, and you guys thought I was rude. I'm a freaking Saint, Saint I tell you, comparing to this guy.
Erdvermampfa have you even play Miracle? How many hours of Miracle stream have you watched? Based on what experience, which tournament finish, do you conclude that Ponder's a filler and counterspell is a liability?
If what you said is true about only running 2 Entreat is risky, have you Google "Miracle Control" in all the tournament history and discover that for the past years, yes years, countless Miracle players MD 2 Entreat and have 1 Entreat in the SB? How do you explain the fact that those people you-called "cannot finish the game" and yet still finished high in big tournaments?
You're just a sour grape. You demand apology when you try to take credits away from other people by dismissing it as "had a good day." What does that say about your character? Did your parents and teachers tell you to behave like that? Last but not the least, by what qualification, what credence do you have, in order to call 4th place finisher of a 1,500 tournament "had a good day?" Who do you think you are?

There is no way I'll answer you, though.
Thanks again for making me laugh so hard.

Now now, guys...
Enjoyed the report a great deal - congrats on the awesome finish! If I wasn't such a scrub I'd certainly try playing Miracle Control. It seems like the only way to play a fair deck that doesn't involve craploads of TNN in the list.
