Hi guys! Kinda new here. Just have a simple question bout heritage druid. Lets say i have a druid and an elf in play. I then cast wirewood symbiote. Now my question is, is it possible to tap the druid and other elf in play then bounce the elf with symbiote, untap druid and tap him again to get the required tap 3 elves?

Nope, you need to pay the entire cost (tapping 3 elves) all at one time.

Yup! Had a feeling it was at the same time. Thanks!

You can't activate abilities while paying for spells or abilities. Even mana abilities, which can be played while playing a spell or ability, are played just before costs are paid - not while. The cost of an ability is the part before the colon.

601.2f. If the total cost includes a mana payment, the player then has a chance to activate mana abilities (see rule 605, "Mana Abilities"). Mana abilities must be activated before costs are paid.

601.2g. The player pays the total cost in any order. Partial payments are not allowed. Unpayable costs can't be paid.

http://www.yawgatog.com/resources/magic-rules/#R605
605.1. Some activated abilities and some triggered abilities are mana abilities, which are subject to special rules. Only abilities that meet either of the following two sets of criteria are mana abilities, regardless of what other effects they may generate or what timing restrictions (such as "Activate this ability only any time you could cast an instant") they may have.

605.1a. An activated ability is a mana ability if it meets three criteria: it doesn't have a target, it could put mana into a player's mana pool when it resolves, and it's not a loyalty ability. (See rule 606, "Loyalty Abilities.")

605.1b. A triggered ability without a target that triggers from activating a mana ability and could put mana into a player's mana pool when it resolves is a mana ability.

Thanks. Cleared up a lot of things for me.
