Do you guys hate the new legend rule or would you rather Wizards go back to how it was before?

I think most of the decks have adjusted. Personally I like the new ruling. It allowed for new angles of attack(depths), at the same time disabling others( jitte, planeswalker rule)

Legacy has adjusted to it, but I think the new Legend rule has made some things better and some things worse. I'm happy with stuff like Mox Opal and Gaea's Cradle providing extra mana and I'm indifferent towards Jace and Liliana mirrors (though I liked how Jace Beleren could be a kill spell), but I think Umezawa's Jitte was far more balanced under the old Legend rule. Under the new rule, Jitte duels are impossible to win for the player that gets it active second unless they play, wait for it, TNN. It's just miserable under the new rule and I greatly preferred it under the old rules.

I searched "rule" in the post title, only searching the Format & Article Discussion forums. The only results are 3 posts about the legend rule (including yours), a link to the joking "challenge flag" rule, and a thread about the M10 rules update.

Love it since it made lands better.

To actually answer the question:

As a player, I'm fine with either version of the rules.

As a flavor guy, it's pretty terrible. It runs pretty much 100% contrary to the original idea of legends.
