Ux Mindshrieker + Training Grounds combo - playable in legacy?

Just remembered a two card combo of Training Grounds + Mindshrieker as a win condition.

Is this strategy viable in the current legacy meta? It's blue so it wont be a rogue deck that falls flat vs. tier-1 combos.

becomes a nantuko shade that has a good chance vs topdeck miracles

Yeah I thought about that interaction awhile ago, but sadly Training Grounds says that ''This effect can't reduce the amount of mana an ability costs to activate to less than one mana.'' So basically you still need to pay 1.
