Importing MTGO .dek files to new computer

I recently purchased a new iMac and I've been unable to import my .dek files from my 2009 Unibody Macbook.

Old Set-Up
VM Ware Fusion
Windows Vista
.dek files stored on desktop

Transfer Method
I zipped the folder.
I e mailed it to myself using a browser opened in VM Ware.
I unzipped the files and saved them to both my Parallels desktop and iMac desktop

New Set-Up
Parallels
Windows Vista

On my new computer, when I open the files on either desktop (Windows or Mavericks), I am able to see the files.
I am able to find the folder through MTGO, but the files do not appear.

Any suggestions? I contacted an Orc and did everything that they told me, to no avail.

Alternatively, is there anyway to view the .dek files to determine which cards are in each deck?

Subsequently, I've begun using NetDecks :)

I don't get what you're getting at? Aren't the decks saved on the server side?

I had to make a fresh reinstall on a replacement SSD since my old one stopped working earlier this week (most likely something controller-related) and aside from my personal settings like short-cut buttons, the rest is still there.

No, they are local decks. I have the files on my desktop. MTGO just doesn't recognize them. When I open them in the Windows or Mac 'Finder' window, they are there. When I use MTGO to open the same folder, no .dek files appear.

Do you still have access to your old system? In there just open the local decks in the deck editor and save them as net decks. That way they should be available on wherever you log in.

I tried doing that and the system didn't want to allow it for some reason, but I'll try again.
