What is there to discuss? You are giving away pieces of cardboard many people do not put a lot of value into. I'd rather save a penny on the registration.

If you were interested in talking about your drivers, motivations on magic finance, or the workings of SCG, that would be an interesting and worthy topic to discuss.

I'm calling Bull!

Sliver Queen is huge, 7 toughness doesn't come with delicacy. Plus, look at her appendages, sickle like with the sharpness. There's no way she leaves such sloppy tears on those panda tokens (what card makes panda tokens?). The rough edges, instead of blunt force trauma from surgical precision blades only leaves one to assume the destroyer of pandas was NOT the Sliver Queen, but another. Personally, I believe it to be nedleeds, or another sentient being with hands.

Maybe a sign that Earthcraft will get unbanned?

That would make this thread redeeming, and it would be super shady that SCG got such first-hand knowledge. So it's probably true.

@Esper3k- I'm happy that you like it, means the tokens (and this thread) are not worthless. Curmudgeons can't always be right, rassum frassum.

Hah no probs, man. We all have different things we like. I find the Squirrel tokens fun and amusing (I'm easily entertained), so it's great for me.

I'd much prefer getting the SCG deckboxes back in place of the tokens.

I dont use them since I love that dual Deck box that Ultra Pro has, but agreed. I usually give away the token, use the month of premium to watch some video of whoever brews awful legacy decks when Im bored, then yeah.

I agree, I found these the most useful "door prize" of all the iterations so far.

Ummmm.. . Anyone else wondering when starcity is gonna stop producing these heinous looking tokens. Im not a fan of the little kid-play-time tokens. Why not commision a real artist like Rebecca Guay to produce a token worth looking at. All's these starcity tokens make me want to do is have an anal evacuation.

guys guys guys—star city has gotten enough deck boxes out there—that phase of the marketing plan is over. they're clearly going after lower-cost freebies for the foreseeable.

the least they should do is hand out paper… if i had a nickel for every grinder who didn't have that (or dice, or even their own goddamn pen)... i wouldn't resent SCG for getting stingier and stingier with their promo items.

Ya! I got my first scg deck box in Richmond and it fits a 75 card deck plus tokens really nice, something those ultra-pro deckholders fall short of.

I would just love something that fits 80 double sleeved cards, and fits into a fat pack box. Haven't found it yet.

I don't know if it fits in a fat pack box, but I've been using this for my double-sleeved deck with tokens, with some room to spare. I'm not a deck box expert but it's cheap and I've found it to be sturdy.

Yeah, doesn't fit in a fat pack. I mostly wanted them to fit in there so that I could bring 2 decks in a single box with me. Maybe just getting 2 different boxes is the way to go.

I use this thing. For those that havent seen it, it flips out, and one half can hold a double sleeved deck, the other half I use a divider which divides my SB, and has tokens and Dice in it. Love it. I would definitely recommend.

Also you can fit a single one into a fat pack box fwiw.

You signed up for states. I'd rather play around with a dice bag than play 6+ rounds of fucking standard. Enjoy your Scryvan Oasis battles with children.
