Ok, so this is my second attempt at making a deck to play since I started buying back into Legacy. I really like the Jund Depths list by Kennan Haas, but I think it's too reliant on Marit Lage as a win condition and overly vulnerable to graveyard hate. Basically I switched out red for white but kept Entomb and Liliana of the Veil, as those are both amazing choices. I wanted to make the deck stronger versus combo and fast aggro, while maintaining its edge in grindy matchups and against fair decks while simultaneously making it less reliant on the graveyard. This is where I'm at right now.

Planeswalkers - 4
4x Liliana of the Veil

Creatures - 12
4x Deathrite Shaman
4x Stoneforge Mystic
3x Knight of the Reliquary
1x Haakon, Stromgald Scourge

Equipment - 3
1x Umezawa's Jitte
1x Sword of Fire and Ice
1x Batterskull

Sorceries - 11
4x Cabal Therapy
3x Life from the Loam
1x Raven's Crime
3x Lingering Souls

Instants - 13
3x Crop Rotation
4x Entomb
3x Swords to Plowshares
3x Abrupt Decay

Lands - 23
1x Riftstone Portal
1x Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
1x Karakas
1x Bojuka Bog
4x Flagstones of Trokair
4x Verdant Catacombs
3x Thespian's Stage
2x Dark Depths
2x Wasteland

Sideboard - 15
2x Wasteland
1x The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale
3x Pithing Needle
1x Abrupt Decay
1x Swords to Plowshares
2x Elspeth, Knight Errant
3x Silence/Thalia, Guardian of Thraben/Abeyance
2x Surgical Extraction

That's a 66 card maindeck, so it still needs to be cut down a bit. The sideboard is just a placeholder mostly. I like the idea of Elspeth as an answer to someone bringing in graveyard hate or as just an extra win con in the face of cards that have a tendency to be a problem, like Humility, or RiP, or opposing planeswalkers. Between DRS, and having Knight and Crop Rotation to find Bojuka Bog, it seems like very little additional graveyard hate is needed in the board, though Tabernacle works well against both Dredge and Empty the Warrens combo. The deck doesn't have any basics, but between Riftstone Portal and Urborg, all of your lands tap for all of your colors anyway, so I'm not really sure that matters. Haakon is an entomable creature who's big enough to trade with Zoo guys and lets you resurrect your Knight of the Reliquaries. SoFi and Jitte turn your Lingering Souls tokens into real threats and give you another out to a TNN board stall (pro: blue).

Basically, this deck is slightly faster than Jund Depths (Flagstones acceleration, Knight Tutors), has more disruption (hello maindeck Cabal Therapy), more raw power removal (Decay + StP vs. P. Fire and maybe Decay) and more options for a non-Marit Lage kill (KotR, equipped critters), and a better suite of options versus combo (white has combo answers/delayers, red doesn't).

Anyway, this is just a starting point, the deck hasn't even been narrowed down to it's tentative final 60 yet, so fell free with the suggestions and criticisms. Thanks.
