Since True-Name Nemesis release, i've been thinking about differents applications. The best use of this insane merfolk is achieved by equiping jittes or swords. Thus, everyone started jamming TNN along side of Stone Forges. Decks started to became more and more complicated until i realize "Why don't we simplify it?".

Mono-Blue Control Name [MUC-NAME]

4 True-Name Nemesis
2 Snapcaster Mage

4 Brainstorm
4 Ponder
4 Gitaxian Probe
4 Force of Will
4 Force Spike
4 Counterspell
4 Stifle
2 Jace, the Mind Sculptor
1 Umezawa's Jitte
1 Sword of Fire and Ice

10 Island
4 Wasteland
4 Scalding Tarn
4 Misty Rainforest

SIDEBOARD (In Progress)
1 Chill
2 Hydroblast
2 Spell Pierce
3 Back to Basics
3 Repeal
4 Relic of Progenitus

The idea here is to achieve TNN before any other creature enters the battlefield. The deck funtions like a misture of a Tempo and a Control deck. It starts the game stoping the opponent from action, with Force Spikes, Stifles and Wastelands. After assemble TNN, it transform into a value game. TNN is a wall, he can atacks or block anyone, which was one of the piece missing for MUC. Sword of Fire and Ice and Jitte do an amazing work keeping small creatures out of range, while Jace seals the card advantage package.

Consequently, in the early game we keep the battlefield clean, while developing the mana base for more powerful cards.

This deck looks like it has a very hard time dealing with early threats. Vial turn 1 probably just beats you, if it resolves.
You have zero ways to deal with resolved permanents so even a solo delver probably just races anything you've got going on. There's a reason counterspell.dec isn't that good.

Personally I'd drop force spike for daze, and try to fit a b2b in the maindeck. Also it might be nice to have a way to bounce a perm like chain of vapor or rushing river or something.
