Seeing as how I live in Minnesota in the metro area....I'm 1000000% sure it hasn't happened yet. The actual dates for it are May 9th-11th.

Glad you'll be there Kirby. Missed you in Milwaukee. I'll be there all 3 days of course but not *really* playing in the main event (might be sleeving up 60 basic islands for the main event just to get the mat and batterskull because why not troll people.) Modern as a format makes me cringe.

Good shit, man. Why don't you just sleeve up the Griselbrand/Goryo's Vengeance deck for the GP? It's Koby-approved.

Real reason I can't play in the main event seriously is I work sunday night/imagine if I actually was in contention but had to drop/feel awful. Instead I'm going to troll people in legacy side events with infernal contract and cruel bargain backed up with land grants and culling the weaks. On top of that I'm not sure I could get the deck together as it runs $320 dollars in fatties alone since it runs sets of brand and emrakul.

I'll be going there with about 10 others from Milwaukee, WI. We're all playing in the main event and in the Legacy side events, particularly on Sunday; San Diego Comic-Con planeswalkers are like $600!

I know some guys that will be heading with splinter twin, some tron varients, B/W tokens

I personally am just going for the legacy side events. Fridays prize for legacy sucks, saturday and sunday looks much more worthwhile. Saturday legacy would be playing for duals and sunday would be the "black" comic con walkers. I will be hitting up these with R/W painter.

Normally I prefer Legacy however, as of late I have gotten a bit bored with Legacy and I am testing my prowess in Modern with either Hatebear.dec or Blue Moon. I love me so screwy decks in formats I havn't played for over 3 years.
