I'm sure many will be happy to see Force reprinted, but out of all of those I like the Elesh and Sword the best. I'm glad that it looks like they're going to (possibly) complete the Sword cycle using the old frame and the Elesh is just amazing with the Phyrexian text.

I don't know - it seems like your opinion is based on the idea of a white card being "evil," and to be frank, magic has evolved past that paradigm. Don't get me wrong, white will still have a larger claim to "good" characters, but I like the new direction. If used in moderation (which I believe it has been) it will allow for better game design and interesting flavor twists.

And seriously, Innistrad? Humans and knights and priests and angels oh my. Shouldn't that kind of reset your angry button?

I remember there was a comic at least 6 years ago, possibly in Penny Arcade. The opening panel had someone who had recently acquired a foil Force of Will and was proudly beaming about his new acquisition. The person who heard him reacted by killing him (with a blowpipe or something), taking the Force of Will, then boasting about his new card. The cycle would repeat for the next few panels.

Finally get a foil force of will after what like 13 years of people wanting a copy in foil? Oh and as for the foil FoW starting at $50, try ten times that number or something. It's not about paradigm, it's about card's illustration being fugly. Lady Gaga is disgusting enough even without her entrails seived through a ribcage. Giving her a skythe-like veil over a skinned face was a correct move, though.

It will start insanely high for the fow. I think 200-300 is where it will settle at. Which is pretty crazy for a judge foil!

This has been long due. Probably will be too limited to make any meaningful impact on accessibility. Don't care for the terrible MODO art but I know a few people who'll be very happy about foil FoWs. My guess is pimpers are gonna tear each other apart for this because now they all need a playset.

In recognition of this milestone, we sent promotional premium Force of Will out to judges who had certified other judges after 2005.

While it does say that they will be giving it to certain judges for now, they never say that they won't be part of regular judge packets. With the set number being the same formatting (4/9) as the other judge promos, I wouldn't be surprised if they released these in judge packets or continued to give them out to higher level judges in mailings.

Obviously if it gets regular judge distribution numbers + the special mailing, the prices wont be 500 a piece.

EDIT: Also they announce 8 future promos. I thought that judge promos were released in pairs so force should be one of them.

I like that they are opening the door to 'other language' promos though. Now to just peel the fucking Dualmasters foiling off ... give us old bordered Korean non-foil Chalice of the Void. Or just older bordered Chalice.
