Ever since Ophiomancer was spoiled I've been interested in finding a home. While a 2/2 for three isn't the most aggressive creature his ability lends itself to effects such as Goblin Bombardment, Cabal Therapy, and even chump blocking. He obviously doesn't want you to play with other snake cards but his creature types of Human and Shaman are somewhat supported. I'm not sure if this works but if you have multiple Ophiomancer, can you trigger them all at the start of your upkeep since you control no snakes and then resolve the triggers to get more than one?
Hopefully we can find a home for this guy with everybody's help.

It's an intervening if clause, so it checks for the number of snakes on trigger and resolution. You can only ever have one snake.

You might want to try Bitterblossom first. It doesn't die to creature removal and costs 1 less mana.

I saw a list somewhere recently that was using Ophiomancer and Bitterblossom alongside Contamination. That might be a route to explore if you want.

If you had a Goblin Bombardment in play could you sacrifice each token between each trigger to get a new snake for each Ophiomancer?

While Bitterblossom is harder to destroy and is 1 mana cheaper I feel like they are different cards. Bitterblossom gives you continuous creatures regardless while Ophiomancer is more abusible with repeatable sac outlets.

Like Tyrio stated above, you get at most 1 snake for the turn. The trigger is checked and you get the snake on resolution.

Unless you're facing enchantment hate or have creature tutors, Bitterblossom is much stronger.

This is incorrect. All the ophiomancers check at the start, then check again on resolution, as you move down the stack. If you can sacrifce the snake before the next trigger is checked, you're good.
If you start the turn with a snake you are SOL.

I agree with you. I don't think I was clear in how I was explaining it. I believe the OP believes you can sac with one ophiomancer in play and still have the trigger be on the stack to generate a second snake (thus incorrectly going infinite). Regardless, my point was that at best it performs on par with bitterblossom with the huge liability of being vulnerable to targeted removal.

This is what I was trying to get at. Maybe a Black based human deck with a sacrifice theme. Dark Confidant, Ophiomancer, and Xathid Necromancer with Goblin Bombardment. Not sure what other creatures are worth playing. White gives Champion of the Parish, Orzhov Pontiff and Cartel Aristocrat. Green gives Noble Hierarch, Experiment One, and Mayor of Avabruck. Red, which would already be played for Goblin Bombardment gives Grim Lavamancer, Young Pyromancer, Imperial Recruiter. Blue adds Delver of Secrets and .... not sure what else.
Another option is to go with the Shaman theme but that seems even less supported than Humans.
