Revoker + Vial VS Jitte

Player 1: has Jitte and a creature in play. It's his main phase. He opts to equip his guy.
Player 2: has Vial at 2 in play and responds to the equip trigger by vialing in a Phyrexian Revoker, naming Jitte.

Question: will Jitte equip or will Revoker "pseudo-Stifle" it?

Jitte equips since the ability in on the stack. Revoker can't stop that.

If you want to stop the Jitte from equiping, you need to do it before that, e.g. when the SFM ability or the cast Jitte itself is on the stack. Otherwise, you don't get priority to do anything between a resolved Jitte and equiping it.

Thanks for the quick response - thought so. I was just caught up in an absurd mws chat with a guy claiming otherwise, while I couldn't find the related rules paragraph. Unfortunately mws crashed on us before I could send him the link to this thread :smile:
