I really like the looks of this deck. It has strengths and weaknesses against every type of deck and although no matchup would be a free win, it has the tools to combat every style of deck. Got 11th at the recent SCG Open and I'm looking to brew it a little bit more and see what exactly is great and where improvements could be made. Anyone have thoughts on the deck as it currently stands? It looks geared towards aggro more than any other matchup, but that's what most of legacy is right now so it makes sense.

Stifle seems odd here. Maybe other counter magic?

Stifle makes sense to me since they are wanting to keep their tempo as low as possible and keeping their mana base either tied up or lower is exactly what stifle is able to do. Stifling Batterskull, fetch lands, delver flips (if desperate), storm, belcher, etc etc etc. I think I like the card in here. What would you replace it with if you didn't run it?

Stifle, Energy Field and Daze all seems like weird cards to put into a Standstill deck. If both players put a bunch of lands into play after Standstilling for a few turns, Daze and Stifle seem a little mediocre. Standstill also seems like it would kill your own Energy Field at in-opportune times. I suppose Stifling their t1 fetch into Standstill is pretty okay, as well as having Daze to protect your t2 Standstill.

I'm surprised there's no Top or Top/Counterbalance in the list, esp with 3 E-Tutors. Only 22 lands and no-Top for a Standstill deck? Maybe I'm looking at the deck wrong and Standstill is more of plan C?

Stifle/Daze/Wasteland all make sense to me together.

The way I see it is more of an all-in on the RIP/Helm combo with RIP/Energy Field as long term protection from death against many decks with Standstill as a way to burn through the deck to these pieces faster. With how all-in the deck is, I'm surprised to not see any Misdirections actually.
