The entry fee will be 5 dollars, and the event starts at 7pm. The prize is based on the amount of people that enter.

The first event will be tomorrow so attendance is hard to gauge atm. I will be attending along with a few friends so making 8 shouldn't be an issue. Hopefully this will generate more interest in the format so to allow more legacy events at this shop.

Not a bad turnout for the first night, they had 14 (maybe 15) people last night with a variety of decks. I saw at least:

3 RUG, 3 DnT, 1 Miracles, 1 High Tide, 1 Shardless Bug, 2 Aluren, 1 Dark Maverick, and 1 Affinity.

High Tide guy here. This was my first time to visit Will Power and I have to say I was incredibly impressed with the way things were run. Tournament started a bit after 7 with a 4 round swiss format and a top 4 prize cutoff. My matches were all incredibly enjoyable, playing against experienced and polite players that were very serious about the games while still casual enough to make small talk and discuss deck/play choices. I had a 4th round bye, and spent the last 50 minutes talking to the store owner, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the game and friendly enough to introduce himself to me when he saw a new face at the store.

I ended up going 3-1 with a first round loss, placing just outside of top 4. As such, I can't speak to the prize structure or exactly how much was given, but I definitely see myself coming back here at some point in the future, the games were just too good to not run back. If you have a hankering for some MtG legacy on a Tuesday night or are maybe just looking to get into the scene (proxies were allowed in this tournament), be sure to check out Will Power Gaming when you get the chance.

Edit: Though it's less relevant in a Source forum, the setup these guys have for PC Gaming is phenomenal. If you spend any time with any serious MOBA's, RTS, FPS, or MMO's you should absolutely come see this place, it's incredible.

Had 15 people this week, a lot of different decks going around. I have been crushed two weeks in a row now but I am happy with the attendance
