Ovino noob questions

Soo.

Im doing a hit and run on ovino. (flying in Friday night, flying back sunday at 7am)

All questions pertain to LEGACY only. Thats how i roll:eek:



Are there trials/byes at ovino?
Im too lazy to Google, but how many participants should i expect?
Is the legacy a 1 day event, including top8?
is it mainly an italian event, or international like bom? (ive been to italy to play vintage in the past, and there were like 5 non italians)

Hi, i'm the organizer of the Ovino.

I'm working for let others TO organize some trials i wait in few days the response from wizards about it.

If they let me hav bye to the main event, trials are avaible, and during all friday there will be 8man trials too.

In the past ediction we had 400 players from all europe, and the year before 450.

So i think this year we'll have about 350/400 players

There are 2 legacy 1 the first day friday ( big trial )
Main event is the secon day saturday

As a player from Germany, it would be VERY nice to have some english information. I don't know why, for a tournament of this size, that clearly wants to attract people from all over europe, there's only information in italian available :/

That's the appeal of Ovino. Every year, we have no idea what's actually going on there. We just drive to Milan and see what happens. It's the ultimate blind date of European Eternal.

True, it's really weird there has been no English announcement in the past but the turn out is always great (about 400 people).

I must say I really like Ovino series, atmosphere is great, "generous "trading is allowed (or not restricted like in some other "not going to say, everybody knows" tournamnet), people are friendly, English can sometimes be a problem but hey, Italians are generally "warm" people, also they have really great sandwiches on site :cool:
