- Forbidden Planet. Shaftesbury Avenue, that's between Holborn and Totenham Court Road underground stations, the street that connects Oxford Street and Piccadily Circus at an angle. It's a huuuge comic store. Really good if you are also after other stuff besides Magic (comics, Yugioh, pokemon, DVDs, Manga, Anime etc)

- Orc's Nest. Earlham Street. Ironically that's the street that crosses Shaftesbury Avenue. The two shops are 2 min walk from each other. This one specializes in board games. They have less choice than the former, but it's a tiny bit cheaper - perfect to buy the latest releases.

- Dark Sphere. 5 min walk from Waterloo Station. You can buy boosters, sleeves and folders here as well as trade with people when there is a tornament. (http://www.darksphere.co.uk - their website). They play Legacy every Tuesday at 7.00 PM. I am sure there is a game in every format once in a while, but I don't know the rest of the timetable... Probably the best place to trade and second best to play Magic (personal opinion).

- The Games Club. This is a meeting place rather than a store. They don't sell anything, but you can trade here too. Currently occupying the "Escape Sports Bar" which is right between Euston and Mornington Crescent stations. (http://www.thegamesclub.org - website). There is Legacy and Standard on Wednesday at 7.00 PM and you are welcome to drop on Friday at any point from 5.30 PM onwards for friendly games or FNM. I'd say the best place to play Magic here atm.
