(again, apologies if this is not the correct forum)

I'm looking at getting from Modern into Legacy, two decks attract me, but at this point I can only afford budget versions, with a view to upgrade them as time goes by.

So my questions are, which of these deck lists would be more solid and which one would form a more solid deck once complete (Big Red or Reanimator?) Any help much appreciated.

The other thing is that this is to be played on MTGO, hence meta is highly variable and can almost be considered unknown…

None of the lists is close to compeditive in Legacy, if you can't afford Sneak Attacks or Griselbrands to begin with. Don't even want to talk about your choice of Cabal Therapy over Thoughtseize.

Your biggest problem with these decks is that you need to add blue at a certain point to improve them and that is a harsh step to make. Honest advice: grab Sneak attacks and griselbrands first and build the deck from there

Edit: exhumed the links to the respective threads, where you can find assistance:

hmmm. That was the answered I feared.

Thanks for the input, it kind of kills the idea, but I do prefer a healthy dose of realism over pointless optimism so it is much appreciated.
