Well, it's Vintage but maybe there are some of you interested anyway :)

Enjoy and let me know what you think!
PS: a couple of busy days, I'll hopefully get around to finally respond to things tomorrow.
Mark's winning list was designed by Greg Fenton, who made top 8 last year with Oath (he played the same list, but luck was not with him). In discussions with Greg, who is a friend of mine, he explained that with Treasure Cruise being around and these Delver decks being able to draw so many cards, mulligans are unacceptable. Mark's quote about the deck are Greg's words, they "took out all the bad cards." This is a gross over-simplification summarized in a way only Greg would.
What he means is, he took out all the cards you do not want in your opening hand and all the cards you might draw that simply might not situationally be good. What this means is a streamlined, relatively consistent deck, no need to mull awkward hands with halves of combos or with cards that are only good on turn four or more. Is Show and Tell ideal? No, but it means that a Grisel in hand is not dead and in fact, you can probably Preordain your way to a Show and Tell and then win. I think the results speak for themselves as to what Greg did and in this case, I think he made a large addition by subtraction.

It makes me sad that rituals are no longer good enough for Vintage. Perhaps Gushbond will make me feel better about it, but it has always felt completely reliant on fastbond to perform (along with a bad shops matchup)
I really wish dredge top 8'd but there was a lot of hate in the room that Sunday.

Dark Ritual in a room with decks either playing Mishra's Workshop or 4 x Mental Derpstep is a tough road. I shudder to think of all the Duress effects you'd need.
