Played some games today against a buddy of mine on BUG delver and Punishing Jund. I did not have BBD's exact list but I was able to reverse engineered it and got really close. Played two Snapcasters and they were strong. Deck is really good and a new player in the meta for sure.

Since Khans was relised i´ve been playing a lot of magic, being UR Delver, UWR Delver with Daze and Wasteland, and Stoneblade with Jace, Dig Through Time and Pyroblast main. I´ve been really impressed with the decks and was wondering witch of them would be better to me. I felt like UR Delver was the best deck, but i never really enjoy playing it over the Stone variants.

Then i saw this list, considerably different then any of them, playing Stoneforge and Young Pyromancer in the same deck. Wow, kind of new right? Also, a set of Treasure Cruise and a set of Gitaxian Probe, 18 lands (this is insane, most StoneBlade lists run 20 up to 22), i just felt in love.

I am glad that the deck did so well - won a 4k+ player tournament - and i am super exited that i will be able to be play this deck on paper when my Young Pyromancers arrive.

That looks more like a new deck to beat, than something "developmental". Strong start, strong middle game, almost no blanks in late game and in any match-up.

Man I have not been this stoked about a deck in a long time! Between the cantrips, low land count and treasure cruise the deck just feels powerful like some kind of Delver Stoneforge hybrid. I'm going to start working on a primer as soon as I get the chance.

I just built the deck last night. Been doing well with it. I've decided to MD 4 Spell Pierce over the pyro pierce split. Also I cut a probe for the 3rd TNN.

My meta has a ton of mono red burn so the 4th probe and Pyroblasts aren't in the maindeck. I also put 3 Blue Elemental Blasts in the board to fight them.

Other than that the deck is a blast to play and I much prefer this over the Delver versions. Sometimes the 1/1s from Young Pyro can carry the deck to the win through equipment. It just has much more endgame than Delver.

Just as an update I went 3-0 with this deck twice at local tournaments. Once before the ban and once after. The deck isn't dead at all, in fact Dig is way more powerful but slightly slower and clunkier. I went -4 Treasure Cruise, + 3 Dig, + 1 Swords to Plowshares.
