Overview:
This deck utilizes a bunch of good cards with great synergy to form a flexible, fun, and competitive deck that has the potential of a turn 2 lock, an unsuspected 15/15 monster, or a turn 37 win from a 1/1 faerie beatdown. It can play like a tempo deck with a flashy finish, or a control deck, gradually overwhelming the opponent with massive card advantage and a 1/1 faerie horde. Whatever style you enjoy playing, this deck has something for you. The main combo finish is the interaction between Polymorph and a near creatureless deck, save a few Emrakul, the Aeons Torns. Polymorph targets a Bitterblossom or Lingering Souls token and "goes off." The Polymorph will flip cards from your library until you hit a creature, in this case, an Emrakul, which will then be put into play. The following turn, the beatdown ensues. Another key card interaction is the combo of Bitterblossom and Contamination. This creates a perpetual mana lock to any player not using B mana.

Goal #1 of every game is to deplete the opponents hand with discard. From there, the deck is very flexible and wears many hats depending on the board position and opponent's deck.

Option 1 is a creature battle, equipping Bitterblossom tokens with Jittes, as well as stringing Lingering Souls together to overwhelm the opponent. In this strategy, the Enlightened Tutor package serves as a means to push your guys through.

Option 2 involves using Bitterblossom/Lingering Soul tokens as fogs until you land a Polymorph, flipping an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, and riding that to victory. The Tutors serve to remove roadblocks to victory: An opponent's charged up Jitte can really mess with your Polymorph's token food. Oblivion Ring can take care of that roadblock.

Option 3 is the least often used, due to it being fairly situational, however, it is a potential turn 2 lockout. In this option, you land a Bitterblossom and follow it up with a Contamination. If the opponent isn't playing black, chances are, you win.

The following are brief descriptions of each card and the justification for it:

Fetches: They get you the colors you need, and allow for increased deck consistency when paired with brainstorm.
Duals: These cards work as two different kinds of lands at once!
Vault of Whispers: Tutorable swamp in a pinch (i.e. need to get to 4 mana to land a polymorph next turn, need 5 to avoid a daze)
Seat of the Synod: Tutorable island in a pinch

Bitterblossom: One of the main components of the deck. Provides targets for Polymorph, endless creatures to carry a Jitte, stall, combos with Contamination for a mana lockout, and provides food for Cabal Therapies.
Lingering Souls: Target for Polymorph, carry Jittes, stall, short contamination lock, food for Cabal Therapies.

Polymorph: The deck's go-to finisher. Can be played as early as turn 3, or late in the game after you stabilize with Blossoms and Jittes, or a Blossom Contamination lock.

Emrakul, the Aeons Torn: The auto-pick for Polymorph.

Cabal Therapy: These are bombs. These provide a headache for the opponent when paired with Gitaxian Probes and tokens. Disrupt combo, slow aggro strategies, or protect Polymorphs. A staple.

Inquisition of Kozilek: Help out with Therapies in that we see the opponent's hand. Provide similar benefits as Cabal Therapy.

Hymn to Tourach: Was originally a 4 of, but was cut down for Brainstorms. Wish I could fit 1-2 more.

Enlightened Tutor: The glue that holds the deck together! Need a Bitterblossom to stall or be food for Polymorph? Have a Bitterblossom and need a Jitte? Did a Delver sneak under your discard such that you need a Ratchet Bomb? Opponent land a pesky Planeswalker? We have an Oblivion Ring for that. ET even can fetch up one of your Artifact lands in a pinch. Enlightened Tutors give the deck much needed flexibility.

Umezawa's Jitte: Allow for legitimate creature battle. Jitte + tokens will win some games on the back of discard. This is plan A. Plan be is using Jitte to stall and land a Polymorph. Additionally, if you land the Bitterblossom + Containment Lock and they have creatures on the board, these are your primary wincon. They give you life to keep the lock running as long as needed, and provide the power to win in a lock.

Ratchet Bomb: Versatile utility. Most often hits 1 mana creatures that sneak under your discard onslaught. Tons of U/R Delver targets.

Oblivion Ring: Versatile utility. Hits Planeswalkers, helps win equipment wars.

Contamination: Not the main focus of the deck, but provides a tutorable plan C. Used in conjunction with Bitterblossom for a complete lock out (non-black decks of course) or, on the back of a Lingering Souls, provides a 4 turn lockout.

Brainstorm: Smoothes out the deck. Pairs well with fetches. Is food for Chrome Mox when needed... (see next card)

Gitaxian Probe: the bomb! Allows us to peer at opponents hand before a Therapy, maximizing CT's effectiveness. Also, provides us info as to whether or not we should combo off early with Polymorph, or wait for protection. Lastly, these and Brainstorm are imprintable on Chrome Mox which allows us a viable Polymorph kill once we've obtained a Bitterblossom/Containment lock. This may be necessary depending on board position and if the opponent is still playing Magic since they have a B based deck.

Chrome Mox: Allows for a quick Polymorph, as well as a way to cast Polymorphs and Lingering Souls off a Contamination Lock.

___________

This deck is in the works right now, and as such, I am wondering if you have any input on it. Feel free to take the deck in a completely new direction to suit your purposes. The SB will need to be suited to what ever meta you find yourself in. As of right now, I can see the board including pithing needle, ensnaring bridge, seal of cleansing, relic of progenitus, and Circle of Protection: Red, and Engineered Plague, though beyond those I don't know (and even none of are written in stone).

Thus far I'm loving the deck: the card interactions and options are awesome. I love the flexibility: being able to win in the first 3 turns (essentially) or just as easily late game is great. And finally, I love that it uses Polymorph to win. Yes.

Any suggestions? Thoughts?

You seem light on removal with a total of 2 removal spells have you considered innocent blood to help kill early delvers and goyf's as well as gain a little ground against sneak and show.

already gone that way. Proteus Staff is much more reliable as 1x + Tutor than Polymorph

Mishra's Factory is another good combo enabler.

Proteus Staff is the natural enabler for this list because it's reusable and once you land it people have trouble getting rid of it. I'd run this black and blue.

4 Thoughtseize
4 Cabal Therapy
4 Innocent Blood
4 Bitterblossom
4 Liliana of the Veil

4 Brainstorm
4 Ponder

4 Proteus Staff
1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
4 Thopter Foundry
2 Sword of the Meek
3 Chrome Mox

4 Mishra's Factory
4 Polluted Delta
2 Flooded Strand
2 Marsh Flats
4 Underground Sea
1 Island
1 Swamp

Why spend so many slots on cards that aren't neccesary? I don't think you need Chrome Mox or Bitterblossom more than you need Force of Will. I'd just pick a stock blue control list (miracles, landstill, or an ubtezz list without baleful strix, depending on your taste and meta), add 1 emrakul and some polymorphs or staffs, and go from there. I'd go for Thopter Foundry / Enlightened Tutor, manland, Tezzeret AoB or a singleton dryad arbor with a fetch heavy land base to support it.

I believe polymorph is better than proteus staff because it:
costs less mana to use
only need to use it once anyway
pitches for force

Proteus Staff can be revokered or needled and costs six mana.
