I've been screwing around with this since Christmas (sandbagging vacation days seems to have left me too much unused time off) and it seems to be doing fairly well in testing. It started out as a Madness deck with Dack churning out Wurms and Rootwallas while doing super busted things with LED, but that was a bit clunky even though its lategame was insanely good. The basic idea here is the same - land Dack and set up a situation where you can either overrun them with Vengevines or Goyfs while never running out of gas due to Genesis and Treasure Cruise. There's probably still a way to put some LEDs in the deck to make it more explosive, but I haven't found it yet.
I'm thinking of adding more burn to help solve the UR Delver problem (you usually win games where Delver doesn't show up until turn 3-4, and lose games where he shows up turns 1 and 2). You've got a solid matchup against the rest of the non-combo field, and the board fixes the combo matchup to appreciably.

Slice and Dice is a nice way to clean up Pyromancer and his Elementals.

It is, but Spray has actually been fine in that regard, and can be found with Intuition which you can't do with Slice and Dice. The real problem I've had with UR is Delver - Goyf + Rootwalla + Vengevine has been great at locking up the ground around Pyromancer, and getting me to the midgame, but the fact that I can't answer a flipped Delver through combat has been the problem.

PUFI and Groves are on color. That helps against Delver and coincidentally helps to turn Dack in a CA engine. If you really have a problem with it, you can run sudden shock in the sideboard.

green does not have good answers for delvers from creatures. Stingerfling spider or other spiders but still not good answers. Punishing fire is the best way to go i think.

Embarrassingly, I completely forgot about PFire/Grove despite it being on-color. I'll be giving it a shot later tonight.

Let us know how you like it. I've been enjoying Pufi with Daretti a while ago, and, before daretti, brewed with Dack Fayden and pufi. It would be great to be able to play with Vengevines once more.

I've only played with it against Miracles and UR so far (those are my go-to opponents right now), but the deck seems solid with PFire/Grove. UR Delver is probably slightly unfavorable, but Miracles is definitely favorable, so I'd say it averages out enough that I'll start testing other matchups. Here's where I'm at:
4 Volcanic Island
4 Scalding Tarn
4 Wooded Foothills
3 Tropical Island
3 Grove of the Burnwillows
4 Basking Rootwalla
4 Tarmogoyf
4 Vengevine
1 Genesis
4 Brainstorm
4 Treasure Cruise
4 Ponder
3 Dack Fayden
2 Intuition
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Force of Will
2 Spell Pierce
2 Punishing Fire
Sideboard
2 Volcanic Spray
2 Ancient Grudge
2 Flusterstorm
2 Red Elemental Blast
1 Pyroblast
2 Surgical Extraction
2 Tormod's Crypt
1 Blue Elemental Blast
1 Punishing Fire
Genesis and the third PFire may change places as Genesis is only really good when you're set up to engage in Dack shenanigans or in a grindy matchup like Miracles. I can see the deck struggling against BGx decks because Decay can kill Dack, but I'm not going to test those yet because they seem to be in decline. If anyone is itching for Vengevine action, I'd give the list a spin.

I love the idea. Would Faithless Looting be worth looking into?

Firstly, Faithless Looting seems like it will help tremendously against decks running Abrupt Decay since it's a replacement for Dack's +1 effect. I think 2-4 is a good number.
Secondly, that list is wildly weak to Blood Moon and Wasteland which, while Wasteland is on the deckline, Blood Moon is not. Even a single basic Island and Forest will be enough to operate under some minimal level.
Finally, in very grindy matchups where Dack may ultimate, I'd rather have 3x Pyroblast and 1x Hydroblast over 1x Pyroblast, 2x REB, and 1x BEB post-board since the former can target any non-hexproof permanent allowing you to steal it. I feel like the risk of a surgical extraction on the Pyroblast is negligible compared to the other engines in the deck.

I might add the Island and will definitely test Looting, probably over Intuition. Against anyone running Blood Moon, you're fine without green mana. The deck isn't any more vulnerable to Wasteland than the other decks people are building right now, and it's more important at this stage to make sure the deck can operate so we can see all of the interactions.
As for the Blasts - I'm fine with Hydroblast out of the board, but would like some mix of REBs/Pyros for Misdirection insurance. People have been running it in my local and it's way better to just have the REB a lot of the time. The things I've stolen with the Dack emblem have all been creatures so far, so PFire is fine for that.

i love the idea behind this list and i have been testing the following configuration
4 Volcanic Island
4 Scalding Tarn
4 flooded strand
2 Tropical Island
4 Grove of the Burnwillows
1 island
4 Basking Rootwalla
4 Tarmogoyf
4 Vengevine
1 Genesis
1 shardless agent
4 Brainstorm
4 Accumulated knowledge
2 Ponder
2 Faithless looting
3 Dack Fayden
2 Intuition
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Force of Will
2 Punishing Fire
Sideboard
2 pyroblast
4 Flusterstorm
4 leyline of the void
4 spell pierce
1 genisis
i cut spell peirce and added shardless agent and faithless lootings. The agent can help set up a vengevine trigger, bloodbraid elf may be better or possibly a replacement for genisis in the mainboard i dont know yet. i would love to hear feedback on the list if others are still testing as i think it has promise.

Guys..., Wonder >>>> Genesis. Genesis is not even a Legacy competitive card, it's a casual card.
I don't see how AK can force Vengevine into grave or trigger Madness, very little synergy.
Playing Green creature Beats without DRS should be a crime.
