Hello everybody.
I want to talk about a crazy idee: A deck that could have the solid base of Nic Fit, the flexibility of Fauna Shaman and shenanigans with Food Chain (and an istant win, of course). I'm not talking about: take Food Chain, add Fauna shaman and a 3-4 toolbox, ok.
No, i want to develop a funny and trick list starting from my experience with Most, scion of old ATS survival that has given me some tops in Italy and too much funny ^^ but i can't find anything new right now, so this idea has taken my mind.
So, the base for me is:
20 Lands
4 Fauna Shaman
4 Veteran Explorer
4 Deathrite Shaman
4 Cabal Therapy
1 Misthollow Griffin
1 Spellskite (protects Food Chain)
4 Brainstorm
This is the very basic...base. From here, i'm moving into the darkness. I think that this deck could efford 4c (withe gives very spicy slots, like Gaddock Teeg, Peacekeeper, Academy Rector, Knight of the Reliquary, meddling mage), and Deathrite Shaman is very important to remove the griffin, if we want to cycle her with Fauna.
Now, we have to find:
-A good way to fetch for Food Chain and how many copies we want
-Tricks and stuff to do with Food Chain even without fauna/Griffin. First thing come in mind is Evoke Creatures: give much mana, do their effect. Mulldrifter, Reveillark, Shriekmaw... t2 Food Chain t3 Maw/drifter seems spicy: in this case, probably 1-3 Restoration Angel could be very very spicy. We have to find a way to invest Chain's mana in creatures that aren't useless otherway, like... Genesis Hydra? Seems nice.
I think we can find a very smart and funny deck, even playable :smile:
