Why are there no GP´s in Germany!?!

can anyone explain me why there are so few GP´s in Germany? I mean the last one was a standard GP back in 2012?!? Years before and now 3 years later there is NOTHING!

Is it because germany has such strict gambling laws?

For example France gets 2-3 GP´s every year and even Spain and Italy get 1-2...

For tax purposes and legality purposes, as mentioned above. A GP with cash prizes would have been taxed as a gambling establishment at the time.

Doesn't this also severely limit the allowed entry fee, IIRC? Like 10-15€?

Yeah, last time they announced that they had to reduce the entry fee to 15€.
