Built this deck with several friends on the way home from GP Worcester last year. Only got to play it at one event, but I feel like there is some potential here.
//Creatures
4 Deathrite Shaman
2 Goblin Welder
4 Imperial Recruiter
1 Iona, Shield of Emeria
4 Orcish Lumberjack
4 Painter's Servant
1 Progenitus
1 Reclamation Sage
1 Vexing Shusher
//Spells
3 Cabal Therapy
2 Duress
2 Green Sun's Zenith
2 Grindstone
4 Natural Order
3 Sensei's Divining Top
//Lands
3 Ancient Tomb
1 Badlands
2 Bayou
1 Bloodstained Mire
2 City of Traitors
1 Dryad Arbor
1 Forest
1 Mountain
4 Taiga
3 Verdant Catacombs
3 Wooded Foothills
//Sideboard
2 Abrupt Decay
4 Defense Grid
1 Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite
2 Golgari Charm
4 Leyline Sanctity
2 Nihil Spellbomb
The deck was born from two ideas: 1) casting Orcish Lumberjack, the creature that hacks Black Lotuses, and 2) playing cube, the act of Reanimating an opponent's Snapcaster Mage to flashback Natural Order, spawning the idea of "what else could we NO for?"
If you do not have Painter's Servant out, you can simply NO for Progenitus, which is pretty good. If you do have Painter's Servant out, then Iona is the best target (obviously naming green for both). You can also simply Painter/Grindstone.
With Orcish Lumberjack, you have the ability to win on turn 2.
T1: Taiga, Lumberjack
T2: City/Tomb, Painter, tap and sac Taiga
a) cast and activate Grindstone
b) cast Natural Order
I'm posting the deck here to hopefully get some more hands on it to make it better.

Can't offer you much right now but I think this has potential and deserves some more attention.

I really like the deck idea. Things i thought over are:
only 5 discard spells as the only way to protect stuff seams low. You can win on turn 2 but every creatureremoval, discard and counter stops you. If you have a discard on your own you may have to name the right card and even if you hit you loose a turn you need a black manasource, and your opponent just need another answer to find.
Without painter your green creature count is low as well for NO(just Deathrite most of the time).
With painter out, green sun's Zenith can get any creature but in this situation you want NO or Grindstone. So the Zenith is just for Deathriteshaman on turn 2 or two bullets that you can get with recruiter anyway. And if you don't have a deathrite you should have a lumperjack.
Note that you can't sacrifice Painter to NO to get a nongreen creature.
So i am not sold on the Lumperjacks, the zeniths and the recruiters. I think going slower with more protection is the better way or going blue for free protection and artifactsearch maybe.

I look at the list and it just yells at me "Faithless Looting". You can use it to fuel Welder, put Progenitus back in the libary or to just dig for an answer to an issue. Would also help you feed DRS since I think 7 Fetchs is too low to use him to optimal effect. (I do notice the SOL lands there that will go to the grave, but if your doing that, I feel your looking at either having it happen later in the game or you have a colourless start to begin with and likely have no DRS on te table.)
Vexing Shusher I feel should not be in the main. Unless you are playing with a meta in mind, I feel it is a wasted slot. Yes, you can GSZ for it, but after trying that myself in Elves a while ago I found I rarely did that. Having some in the side would not be a horrible choice.
I would add at lest one Artifact land, just as a test. Not sure how it would go but it could find a place with Welder on the table.
Not sure how it will go, but it is an interesting idea all the same. Good luck with it.

So are we thinking that swapping black for blue might be worth while? Instead of Lumberjack we could run some artifact mana (Mox Diamond?) and play Transmute Artifact.
Could up the fetch lands to fuel DRS more (also, fetching Dryad Arbor is an easy target for NO, so it's more than just DRS without Painter). If we need more green creatures AND want protection, we could play Xantid Swarm main. Could just be bad, though. Edit: Ooo, Tinder Wall?

Ive been playing NO Painter for over 6 months now as well; and have never had time to write about it. My deck does vary but thats okay especially in these development stages of new decks. Ive all but cut red out due to the inconsistencies Ive had when compared to iPainter. However a splash for Blood Moon still wins MANY matches. As something that is different with this deck, we name Green with painter! This Deck definitely feels truly like a variant of Maverick more than it does PaintedStone.

This deck is G/W so its apparent my options differ from the OP's. The white does add the E tutor package which "creates" 5 of's of silver bullets maindeck or perhaps from the sideboard. The worst matchups I seem to have are Storm; Omnitell; Miracles; Sneak & Show/Omnitell.
Awesome situations:
(VS Delver) I have 2 Painters in play one on green one on blue. I cast natural order sacing the "blue" painter, my opponent with two cards in hand exiles a land to cast FoW. "Judge!" Ruling is he couldn't due to blue painter no longer in play and i win with Iona.
(VS Reanimator) Opponents at 3, were on turns and im on turn 2. With a green painter in play I cast GSZ for 2 to browse my deck, I know if he gets a Grisselbrand in play he draws the match. I go though all my cards and i choose Containment priest. (awesome feeling GSZ'ing for it) It also coincidentally gave me enough damage to win.

I only draft this in cube as I love the ide of being able to natural order an emrakul into play. Otherwise I have yet to be convinced of its viability beyond that. All things considered should I have some time amongst my usual brewing I will see what I can contribute.
