How many Bayous, Taigas, & Badlands do I need?

Hi. I was thinking of adding storm to the list of decks I own, but I don't have the money for the LEDS and tutors/mox at the moment.

I'm thinking of trading away some of my duals for at least the LEDS since they're all on the reserve list.

I own 3 Bayous, 4 Badlands and 4 Taigas. I used to play Jund Nic Fit, but I don't play that any more. I don't own bobs so I don't really see myself ever playing Jund.

I obviously have no immediate use for anything but 2 bayous (BUG Delver), but just to be safe, how many of these cards should I hold onto? I figure I need $300 to build storm. So would I be better off selling 3 badlands and 3 taigas or should I do 2 of each and 1 bayou?

I know in the end it's up to me, but does anyone foresee any time where one would really need more than 2 of each of those duals?

In all honesty, I'd consider all other options before getting rid of dual lands because the truth is: you just never know. I know a guy who got a Time Walk by trading in a crap ton of Llanowar Elves and other stuff he didn't care about.

Appreciated, but I don't have $300 worth of llanowar elves in my collection. Everything gets played except these 9 duals.

I would say you should keep a Badland, 2 Bayou and at least a Taiga (probably 2 just for potential need)... I would try and find some Chaff to off load to make up the difference. As mentioned earlier though, duals are on the reserve list also thus getting rid of these has potential to go up.

This is easy. Keep 3 bayou 2 taigas and 2 badlands. Taigas and Badlands are always played as supplementary duals so there's no real need for 4 off. You might even stretch it by keeping only 1 badlands and 1 taiga but.. 2 of each is better.

I would not trade away an of he bayous.. the dual is just to good and when you wil want to go back to some jundy style deck 3 might be just the number you will be looking.

2 badlands and 2 taigas should get you close to 4 leds. I'm pretty sure you have some other excessive cards laying around so you might take a look at those before actually going for the duals..

I don't think you need more than 2 of any non U dual (and 3 of U duals), Mr Miagi sounds reasonable

Thanks guys. This is what I figured. And LEDs are on the reserve list as well so it's not like they are going to tank in price any time soon.
