Best Place to Sell Cards in Seattle (Besides Card Kingdom)

Hey everybody, it's been a really long time since I've been on this forum and a lot of the familiar faces are gone. I'm in a bit of a quandry. I need to off-load some high dollar Legacy/Vintage staples (at this point mostly land) because I need to move and pay for rent blah blah. Now, I know I can go to Card Kingdom and sell what I have with me but I am assuming that they are not the only game in town. If anybody knows a shop(s) that will give good prices for duals, FoW, etc. please let me know. Alternatively, if there are any play/test groups out there I would be open to talking to them as well. I used to play on Friday nights up at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park years ago. Not sure if that is still going on or not. Anyway, sorry if this is the wrong place for this, just not sure where else to ask. I guess pm me for a list of what I am trying to sell. Thanks.

I just sold $6000 in cards over the past month to individual players. It would help if you have a list of cards available. I might even want some myself! :smile:

That's cool, yeah I just wasn't sure if it was kosher to do that here. The list of what I have and need to sell right now (I have way more stuff in storage but that's in another town):

4x Tundra 3rd ed
2x Tropical Island 3rd ed
1x Tropical Island Unlimited
4x Polluted Delta (Original printing)
4x Flooded Strand (Original printing)
4x Force of Will (Alliances)
4x Dark Confidant (Original printing)
1-2 Jitte can't remember (Original printing)
1x Sword of Fire and Ice (Original Printing)
3-4 Aether Vial

A whole bunch of other stuff in sideboards I can't quite recall, Meddling Mages, other good blue sideboard cards, etc. I dunno, a bunch of stuff. I was hoping to get at LEAST $1000.00 for the lot of what I listed above. All are (in my opinion anyway) EX to NM condition with a couple exceptions.

I'd suggest checking out "High End Magic for Sale" on Facebook. That group have I had excellent experiences with, regarding sales of cards.

You would have no problems at all getting $1k for what you listed above, provided they're in reasonable condition.

If you're on Facebook, I've sold some high end stuff like that on the Magic the Seattling page. It's all a matter of how urgently you need money. Stores are always the quickest way to liquidate.

For larger items, I do suggest you meet up with individual players (perhaps contacting through Facebook).

For smaller items, going to a store is easiest. Keep in mind a lot of stores grade cards strictly, so you may not get the full value you expected for your cards.

I will need to sell these by the end of the month, preferably by the end of next week. I'm a little rushed for time unfortunately :(
