Is Eternal Weekend happening again this year?

Cursory internet searches are only turning up 2014 details. And the Eternal Extravaganza 3 is happening suspiciously close to the end of October dates for Eternal Weekend 2014.

Last I heard, it was still planned. They had this problem last year. Even up to about a month before the event, it still had the previous year's details.

It would be nice if they could tell us a bit in advance, I can travel to any event I wish next year and this is the one I like the look of the most. Vintage and Legacy in the one place with the chance to play against some of the best in the world. Just if I am planing a year in advance (Due to it also being a family holiday) knowing some information is good ahead of time.

It is implied to be happening again here (http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?29431-Eternal-Extravaganza-Legacy-Satellite-Series-Coopersburg-PA-13-June-2015).

Want to win byes to Eternal Extravaganza 3 while playing Legacy and winning awesome prizes? Come play in one of our eternal Extravaganza Satellite Series events! we will be giving out at least $1,500 in prizes and the winner* will even get one by to our Legacy Main Event, held on Saturday, October 24th.
Emphasis is mine.

Eternal Weekend and Eternal Extravaganza are two different events.

:frown:

So they are! Which was pointed out by GoblinSettler in the OP... I should probably read better.

AS PUNISHMENT...

You must go to EE3.

I guess I'm going then.
I had previously been under the assumption that Coopersburg was a good distance from me, but it's only an hour. Totally manageable.

The only potential snag is that my birthday is the 23rd. By itself that wouldn't be an issue, but it is also my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary.
I'll just have to inform my loving wife that I have no say in the matter... Attending fulfills the requirements of my punishment.

Not to, ah, dis your wife or anything, but that was pretty terrible timing on her part.

Anyway, just sell it as a romantic weekend getaway. By the time you get to Coopersburg and she she figures out the truth, it'll already be too late and you can run her through a crash course on Burn or Merfolk.

I'm something like 10 hours older than my wife. We got married slightly earlier than initially planned because in 2010, our birthday happened to fall on a Saturday. So now every year we get to celebrate our Annibirthary.

I'm pretty sure entry for EE is in the $50 range. I'm positive handing my wife a stack of cardboard and an entry slip would be a waste of that money.
It will be entertaining to see how I spin this though...

"I know it's our anniversary, but I have to go play Magic... I promised a jelly donut on the internet that I'd be there."

That really belongs in the best quotes thread. (on mobile or I would do it myself.)

It's on the calendar! I'm going to try to make the one in June as well.

I won't be there in June tho. I live too far north to justify it.

Just sell the idea to yourself as a romantic weekend getaway.
According to this (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g52419-Activities-Coopersburg_Pennsylvania.html) site, you can visit the Flint Hill Farm ("Great Adventure for All!") and follow it up with a trip to Always Pretty Salon and Spa (Linda's the best!).

According to this (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g52419-Activities-Coopersburg_Pennsylvania.html) site

Basically a ghost town.

Though, I promise that if I do go down for the trial, I will make sure to treat myself and Deathrite Shaman to "Always Pretty Salon" and post selfies of the getaway.

Details have been out for a while, but still. Three days. Three major Legacy events. Feels great.

In other news, is there an established value of the "points"?

No idea about the points... anyone know what kind of turnout to expect for this?

Last year was 481 Players for Legacy. I'd expect a little over 500 this year.

Anyone know if they will be streaming it like last year?
